This past Friday I was reading about the good comments about this store. I was there the next day (Saturday) to buy a shirt. The customer service could have been much better. I was the only one there in the small store. The young man who was at the cashier was not kind and helpful. I asked him a question about a product that I was interested, he responded very coldly. He did not want to be bothered. He forgot that he is helping and serving people (customers). I was about to leave, but I changed my mind and bought the shirt that was worth $25.00!!! I hope that Taino Mayor Studios will take care (fix) this problem!!!! Please put people (a person) that will help, not chase customers away!!!! I am not happy with the treatment from this very young man!!!! I hope in the near future this store will change the customer service!!!!

This has been my favorite store since I was a little girl. It’s like a little piece of Puerto Rico right in the Bronx. The staff are welcoming friendly and helpful, the establishment is always very organized and clean, and there’s always great music playing. You’ll feel right at home. I highly recommend this gem to anyone. ???

They have so much items including clothes and authentic dresses and straw hats, dominoes, candy you would only find in the island and so much more. The prices are affordable and the owners are super friendly and helpful.
