Buddy did such an incredible job, that my father decided to bring his car as well to fix some damage his own car had. Perfect job every time! I brought my car a second time when my car door flung open with the wind and hit something so hard, it had an indent and layers scratched off. My door is as good as new and I'm so happy! Highly recommend Buddy, he's a master at his work and the most pleasant man.”

Me and my wife found this location and I stopped by and spoke to someone to get an estimate. And I can honestly say that for the price it was well worth it. “I cannot emphasize just how amazing this shop was. Anthony at reception was so sweet and helpful in explaining everything and making everything so easy! My car went in looking mangled with my passenger side doors basically mangled and came out show room new. I was worried about the color because its an uncommon color and they matched it to perfection! and went above and beyond. When I went to get in my car, it had been detailed and cleaned to look brand new!! They bagged all my stuff but left my mom's funeral prayer card on the console, and that meant so much to me because It was so respectful of them. I could not recommend this place enough. Every person there was so nice!”

“From the moment I called them, so frazzled from having a tree knock off my car bumper, Jimmy was so reassuring and I knew that I would be alright! When I walked into their shop, Jany, their receptionist greeted me warmly, and they have a tiny aquarium with mini frogs at reception! I felt like I was treated like family and it meant so much to me. When I picked up my car, I also met Gus, one of the owners, who was personable as well. They did a BEAUTIFUL job on my car, truly looks brand new! When you are going through this chaos and stressed to the max, you want a company that appreciates your business, and treats you decently! Also Jimmy added in a repair to my gas cap, where the cord had been broken, for a very tiny fee. I highly recommend this wonderful body shop, and they are right next door to the Tibbett Diner, which has been in business for many years and has excellent food. This was the closest to my home, due to the weather a large tree branch demolished my windshield and they replaced it for me all was great, two weeks ago I received a ticket on my windshield stating my inspection sticker has been manipulated, come to find out he ripped it off when he changed the glass and replaced it knowing it was damaged. I had to pay to re-do the inspection $37.50 and pay for the $65 ticket. talk about service, now i know why the assistant was looking at me weird. lml only in the bronx”

“I have been a customer of Ely's for years. Unfortunately he had to move from his Grand Concourse location but he is still easily accessible to anyone in the South Bronx and located right off the Bruckner Expressway (the shop is on Bruckner Boulevard). Ely and his mechanics are a true do it all, know it all team. They can immediately tell you what is wrong with your car just by listening to the details of your problem. Any issue you have, Ely can order the parts and get your car fixed ASAP. Then there is Eddy, Eddy is legendary in the Bronx. The man has been a master mechanic for centuries! He doesn't try to swindle you, upsell you, anything. Any problem you have, he will literally jack up the car and show you. He will also advise you against certain things you think you should do because you heard it on the grapevine. I'll give you an example, one time I wanted to change my brake pads because I kept hearing the screeching sound (we all hate that about brakes). Eddy told me not yet as the brake pads still had a little more padding to go and it would just be a waste. I used it to the safest minimum and got it changed within 2 months. Can you imagine? I still had 2 months left of driving out of the brakes and thanks to Eddy, I was able to reduce waste and get nice pads on for the holidays! Lastly, we will talk about price. Ely will always give you the best price out of any mechanic in the South Bronx hands down! If you go to a dealer, you are only asking to waste your money. Also, Ely and Eddy stand by their work. If you have any problems post-repair, just call Ely and he will always tell you to come right back. No questions asked!Overall, I highly recommend Ely for all your mechanic needs. Stop searching for a mechanic now and head over there as soon as possible. Don't forget to look out for Eddy. You will know him when you see him. :D”
