Been going there for more than a decade. Great meats with excellent service. Prices are more expensive thank supermarket prices, but meat quality is much much better. Highly recommend them.

Anytime I'm anywhere even CLOSE to Biancardi's, this place is like a magnet and I'm suddenly there, ordering a mandatory pound of that buttery prosciutto di Parma and whatever else I can't leave without. YUM! Always a hit!

Best quality and prices for fresh butchered cuts in the hemisphere. Compulsory stop for Bronx ex-pats and Italian cut cognoscenti. Make sure to leave your butcher a couple of bucks for trimming your meats. (There are a half dozen of them lined up behind the meat case waiting to serve you - expect a wait around holidays.) Grated parmesan, other cheeses in the fridge; frozen breakfast sausage, other rare cuts in the freezer. Mini-mortadella in the fridge at $2.99, best bargain on Arthur Avenue.

Another Arthur Avenue butcher shop - like there are 2 or 3 within a few hundred yards of each other, Biancardi's came through for me more than once over the years with its good selection, expert staff, & reasonable prices.

I've only been here once but this place is great. Large selection of meat, clean and not overpriced. I bought a 3 lb. boneless pork shoulder to make a pork ragú. It was delicious.

Very Rude, Bad Customer Service, rushing me to order. There’s some discrimination and you get treated according to how you look. The meat is over priced. If you been in business for so many years customer service should be your main quality and is not.

The absolute best meats, cheeses and eggs ever! And, I lived in Italy for 2 years. Service is superb as well. I'd actually walk there from UWS if I had to. Totally worth it! Even an extra, Sal Biancardi is not only lovely, he is beyond handsome OMG!

I've been coming here for several decades, and today I decided I'm no longer coming back. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw most of the butchers handling meat barehanded and proceeded to exchange cash and card without washing their hands in between. I was beyond revolted and decided to step out before I even ordered. Rather than waste the trip, I walked down the street and visited Pete's instead, no such problem. I don't know if the pandemic has made me more acutely aware, and this was always a thing, or it is something new, but I'm surprised this is not brought up by other customers. Obviously, the meat will be cooked to hopefully kill off all the pathogens, but it makes me wonder if they are this careless what else is going on that we don't see? It is an actual health hazard, the number of times they touch money, then continue to handle meat and resume this cycle throughout the day. It got even worse when I saw one butcher Frenching a rack and chucking the discarded pieces right onto the floor, ignoring the giant bins while just laughing and chit-chatting with the customer. I don't understand what has happened to this place, maybe I was disillusioned with how "great" this place was, and it was always like this (dirty), but it just feels like another institution of Arthur Ave going to the dogs.

This is the best butcher shop in the world. The best butcher in the world is Alfredo. I don't know where to begin. The sausage, whatever type get it. The chicken cutlets are perfect. They make the best meatballs, I have ever had. Listen to the butchers, they know their business, take their suggestions, you can't go wrong . The prices are better then the supermarket and the quality is 100% better.

Rude people. I was met with such nasty attitude. They sell you want they want you to buy and not what you want. They treat their customers as if they don't matter. If I want to buy the leftover scraps someone else doesn't want to buy I don't have to go to a butcher shop. Those should be thrown out or ground up. The quality, as far as I can see, is fine. Make sure you examine what you buy and get what you pay for. But I still can't recommend this place after the way I was treated.
