I have known Amado for 20 years, he has always been a very polite guy, empathetic and quick in his repairs, always ready to provide excellent service to his clients. He has serviced 3 of my four minivans that I have had. I recommend him with closed eyes. , a very honest guy like few others, in short he is the best as a mechanic, master in transmissions.

They are the best.. my car shut down, and I thought It was the alternator.. they looked at it and found it was the belt tensioner. The alternator and battery were good. Any other shop would have said the alternator, and it would have cost me a fortune.. I can't recommend them enough. They do their due diligence and truly have the customers' interest above all else.

Extremely pleased with this auto shop as a women car owner it can be frustrating going in to a car auto shop and not getting ripped off … but this auto shop hands down from the first step in they not only educated me but knew everything about my Mbenz. This place has been here a long time, small transmission shop in Hunts Point. I remembered they had rebuilt a box truck transmission for me about 15 years ago. Now we had a dodge with 200k that the transmission failed on, with the price of used cars now we decided to fix it. Pulled the tranny and brought it here, he had it rebuilt in 3 days for far less than anyone else wanted. I put it back in and a week later it's perfect. Highly recommend this place, both for quality and price!!!

Very good mechanic, I took my 2015 Yukon XL and the transmission turned out tremendous, since it looked good I also took my 2017 Tahoe for the transmission, it also turned out very well I recommend it

My mother needed a piece for her shifter for her 1996 Oldsmobile and unfortunately they don’t make that part anymore. So what Amado did was he took the old part cleaned it up and made adjustments and made the part like new. We were so thankful. Great man, very kind! He will definitely have my business anytime I need some transmission work!

I prayed to God for a decent honest transmission mechanic. God answered my prayers and sent me to Amado Transmissions. Aamco said it would cost up to $4,000 to fix. Amado found it was only a leaking hose. Total cost $400! Thank You JESUS!!!

As a female, It is almost always intimidating going to the mechanics due to fears of being overcharged or having unnecessary work done for extra cost. Amado takes that fear away by providing detailed explanation, cost, and even a chance to review options before charging a cent. Honesty, professionalism, and fast service is why I will continue to refer my family and friends.
