I have had a letter placed in my mailbox for the wrong address for three days now, it is for certified letter. We have placed it back in the mailbox and the delivery person does not take it to the correct address. It states they tried to deliver it in person for a signature, this is not true. We have cameras and there was no post office employee at my door this past week. The worker needs to be doing a better job.

We had our mail on hold at the Brockport Post Office. Without our signature they stopped our hold; which was for the allowed 30 days. They refused to give my husband their name and said good luck to my husband when he asked for it! They are rude individuals at that post office; this is what the government employees! If anyone knows the name of the person in charge of the Brockport Post Office let me know the name. We plan on reporting them to the USPS Office of Inspector General. I swear NY gets more and more pathetic every day!

It was an exciting day for me because I had just released a CD and had many orders come in all at once, but when I brought them in to the Brockport post office to mail I was treated like I had just ruined everyone's day. The woman at the desk literally said "OH MY GOD" to me, at the post office, where we are supposed to mail things. At least that's what I thought. Then, a different woman processing my packages told me "you know you can do this all online..." in front of a few other customers. To which I replied that I don't have a printer or a scale? Kind of a wild experience honestly.
I have a lot of appreciation for the postal service but these particular staff need to get a grip on reality or perhaps find another line of work ?

Went in looking for my package that was marked delivered, told the desk lady sometimes i get another ladies packages so i thought maybe it was under hers somehow, that was met with i have a good deliverer and my comment shrugged off. Ive seen packages thrown at our apt doors multiple times and ive had packages marked as delivered and delievered days or weeks later, EVERYONE knows this is common. My package is a big package she confirmed they had a big package back there told me her manager or whoever could track where it was delivered so i gave the info and tracking again and got a call from said manager who then told me hes never heard of that and doesnt know who gave me thag information because its a internation tracking. Went back insixe for a explanation and had no explanation that made sense vs what she had just said to me not even 2 mins ago. I bet anything that IS in the back cuz they dont wanna deliever it because i live on the second floor. So i have no idea why they told me they could give the gps cordinates of where my package was then turn around and say theyve never heard of that.

Park was on the streets or the side of the building. There was only one staff on the counter and she was great. She was super friendly and very helpful. We went into change address and get a PO Box and made it so easy.

The service from the Brockport Post office was amazing the entire time I lived in the village. I still work in Brockport driving a school bus. On my daily route I pass a letter carrier named David, sometimes several times a day and each time he smiles and waves. The kids on the bus watch for him. One day I pulled the bus over and he stopped and ran to us to make sure we were okay. Not only does he perform his task but cares for the community he serves. Kudos, David. We need many more like you in the world. Great job, Brockport!

Tomorrow I will make my last visit to the post office on Main Street in Brockport, and I am looking forward to never having to do business there again. My main complaint revolves around accessibility--I use a walker and cannot climb/descend steps. There is a ramp in front of the building but time and time again the push button door at the top of the ramp was not unlocked and I had to bang (repeatedly) on the door in order to grab someone's attention and have them open the door for me. After several such instances, I filed a complaint with the USPS online and, for a while, the door was always in working order. Then, a few weeks ago, history repeated itself. The employee who eventually opened the door gave me a dirty look, did not apologize, and hurried into the back room. I asked the counter clerk why the door wasn't working; her response: staff had forgotten to unlock the door because "not too many people like you" come to the post office (!). Also, perhaps as a COVID measure, there are huge table separating customers from the actual counter, which makes it difficult for people of average height (and thus arm span) to reach the payment machine. And although once in a while I have encountered a pleasant clerk, for the most part the clerks I dealt with bordered on surliness. I have lived in many cities/states and thus have done business in many post offices. Apart from the horrors on offer in Brooklyn nearly 20 years ago, the Brockport post office ranks lowest on my list.Joke's on me: My last visit to the Brockport post office was NOT today...'cause the credit/debit machines were not working (apparently nation-wide but try finding any info online). If I were a true paranoid, I'd say this major inconvenience was payback for my initial negative posting, but that nuts I am not. Good news: the push button door was unlocked and the clerk was truly apologetic re the inconvenience. Hope my last, last visit goes well!Time to Eat Crow: Made a really stupid mistake on my change of address card...and Supervisor Shane went way out of his way to correct my idiocy (shout out to my former carrier, Dave, too). Their professionalism (and kindness) was great--but still doesn't erase the problems I had with accessibility and other employees' attitudes. Bottom line, though: Thank You, Shane!

These are some of the most miserable people I have ever encountered in my life. They act as though you are putting them out by having them do basic functions of their job, like purchasing postage or mailing a package. I've been to many post offices and am not really sure if I've encountered a more miserable group of women.

The hours posted for Saturday say the P. O closes at 2:00 pm. That said, someone inside decided 1:00 pm would be a better time to close. They posted a sticky note on the door informing any hapless person showing up after 1:00 pm that they were just SOL. Hey... it can wait until Monday. Whatever! They are just a Federal operation people are supposed to rely on.

Their office hours are a lie. Online states a certain time but when you go there, they pick and choose when they feel like being open.

Delivers letters just fine, however they have never once successfully delivered a package to me. Every time I have a package being delivered they leave one of those notes that say it "couldn't be delivered". These aren't even packages I have to sign for! I've caught them several times entering the apartment building I live in only to slap a note on the row of mailboxes (not even my own mailbox) saying they "attempted delivery". Absolutely the laziest postal service I've ever seen. A strong case for defunding the postal service and letting private companies do it all. A disgrace, really.
