Usually love this place, and we've never had a problem before, but this time an employee, completely wordlessly and without our permission, upgraded my boyfriend's computer from windows 10 to 11, DESPITE THIS JUST BEING A HARDWARE INSTALL, didn't describe at all how to find the files he had transferred (they were in a folder that my boyfriend never would've found without having to EXPLICITLY ASK where it was. we had to drive back to the store for this.), and there are so many updates that my boyfriend STILL has to run, despite the laptop being with the employees for a couple of days.I'm sorry Joe, but no amount of kindness and otherwise proper customer service is gonna make up for the godawful experience this was for my boyfriend, who's still having to work things out. I don't think we'll be coming back for hardware upgrades again.

Would have appreciated some elaboration on "we had trouble moving your files over" /before/ I had to come back into the store with my laptop to figure out everything, and the sudden (unwanted) upgrade to Windows 11 is jarring, but they did replace the RAM and SSD like I wanted so there's only so many times I can complain. With prices like theirs, I guess beggars can't really be choosers.Only reason I didn't choose to downgrade back to the OS I was comfortable with was because I had no idea if I'd have to do this anxiety-incuding "oh my god did I lose all of my files" song and dance again, and I wasn't about to even risk it.Overall good services for the price, but make sure to ask questions to clarify EVERYTHING or you may get more than what you bargained for here. Big thanks to Joe for helping me figure out everything.

Absolutely wonderful place to go if you need to get computers,tablets, phones etc. I have brought my laptop there a few times over the past few years and I have had nothing but great service. It's cheap and reliable.

Excellent. These folks rock!! Fantastic patient helpful service and such a pleasure to deal with. A fine example of how to run a buisness treating their customers needs with care and respect. Great prices on electronics....very interesting things at a discount... Owners are wonderful..I have purchased a laptop and tablet and a monitor.... they even have cellphone's ??

My go to place when I have computer problems. Had to wait for the part needed to be sent. Poor postal delivery!! But, when the part came in, computer was fixed. All good!!

They have good solid stuff at good solid prices. I got two phones and a TV there, all of which work great months later. As a hardware tech of yore I have respect for their techs.

My desktop I use for my business died last week and I was panicking, went to Ecaboose to see what they had before I made the trip to a big box store and I am so glad I did! I explained my problem and what I needed, the customer service was completely amazing, I walked out in under a half an hour completely at ease. They sold me what I needed, nothing more or less, at an amazing price AND they was able to salvage files from my old computer (something I was not even aware was possible!) I highly recommend and will be going back for all my future tech needs! Thank you so much!

It was a good store I guess but I purchased a pc from here and it only lasted a few months. It all of a sudden stopped booting. I opened it up to look at it and not only is it having issues even turning on, 3 of the fans that were pre installed weren’t even plugged in. It doesn’t recognize aux input. Bluetooth does not connect at all and I’ve been trying to troubleshoot all of this since I got it. If you’re gonna buy anything from this store, get a console, or something they didn’t build themselves

This place is great never had any issues. My uncle, mom couple other family members and myself have all gotten laptops from there never had an issue. When I ordered mine online and I went to go pick it up they actually didn't have it, the guy who waited on me was incredibly nice. Found me a laptop comparable and fixed up the memory to where I needed to be and I was out the door. I've had it going on 2 years no problems!

I had brought in my New 3DS XL last year because its top screen had dead pixels. And all seemed well at first, and when I got my console back it turned out that they had replaced it instead of repairing it. So I lost my digital games and the progress made on said games, as well as the Nintendo Network ID. And I was very disappointed because I then had to call Nintendo to get my Nintendo Network ID sent to the new console so I could get my games back. And now the 3DS they sent back to me is now broken, and I'm very skeptical about going back there.Edit: This review has been somewhat negative so far I will say that customer service was great and the guys there were really nice.
