“I had to return a desk and chair to Amazon. I came from the ups store where the guys are always so nasty. They told me they didn’t have big enough boxes for me and that I had to go to Home Depot to buy them. (I saw big boxes) I said let me try the south shore mailroom and shipping center. Even though they don’t take QR codes, Donna and Melissa did everything they can, multiple prints to try and get a label which they did! They also did everything they can to fit my desk and chair in the boxes and were very generous with them ? thank you guys so much for your help I will always go there for my big returns and always feel so welcomed there.”
“The employee that helped me at checkout was friendly. She offered to bag my items. We spoke about how much money I saved by purchasing the items early and on sale. Very professional.”

“I was expecting an important shipment from the UK. I got the notification that it had cleared Customs so I decided to go to the local disti center.
The female coordinator could not have been nicer. As trucks were wizzing out to deliveries, she managed to get my little package for me and save me important time and effort.

“This store always has what I am looking for and then some. I do wish that the LaserJet Ink cartridges could be stocked a little better than they are. Sometimes, but not always, when I go they will be out of one of the toner cartridge colors and then I have to order from Amazon, which is annoying. The whole point of the brick and mortar store is that I want the product NOW!!”

“Always use them when I'm in NY! They make it very convenient to return or drop off packages through UPS. The only downfall is that it's inside Staples so if you don't know UPS is there you won't know to go there.”

“The staff was so helpful. I was sending a package to my son in Buffalo and couldn’t be sure if anyone would be home when the package arrived. I didn’t want the package to get wet or stolen while on the front porch. The associate who helped me explained that I could send to a UPS Store in Buffalo and suggested I call the Buffalo store to make sure that they would be able to receive the package and have my son pick it up for a small fee.”
“I had to fax some important documents. The young man behind the counter was too busy with his project despite seeing myself and another woman waiting. Howard helped me fax my documents and waited with me until I received the confirmation. He was friendly, helpful, and is definitely an asset to the company. Very appreciative for his help, and I'd go back to this location again because of him! My one complaint isn't the employees fault...it cost me almost $20 to fax 9 papers! I was assuming $10-11, but $20 was mind blowing! Not the employees fault, but definitely something to note if you have several documents you need to submit.”
“I sent 4 boxes, I was afraid because of the negative comments. But I have to tell you that everything arrived as well as I sent it. The only thing is that two of my boxes were dirty with oil on the outside. I didn't send oil, but apparently some oil was spilled near my boxes and dirty two. Everything arrived very quickly. It only took 17 days.”

“This post office is great . James was super helpful and took his time to help me with my questions and prices . Going to the post office can sometimes be an anxiety inducing process. But this location is very cozy and usually isn’t packed with a line . I’d recommend going to this location if you are in the area for your postal needs. Once again James who was working the front was totally chill.”

“My first visit here was a good one, and when I have a good experience I like to let others know. Especially when most visits to USPS locations are usually not the most pleasant. Not this day at this location though! So let's celebrate, I was in and out in a couple minutes. The lonely gentlemen behind the counter just received a huge order from the customer before but it didn't take long at all(a minute most) and he was helping me with my few pieces of mail and off I went. “Christine at the ronkonkoma FedEx is very nice and very helpful. She went over and beyond to help me send out a package that I had a prepaid label. The barcode on the label was not complete. She tried every which way to get it right. It turns out I have to get another label and I will be back to send it FedEx.”

“My family and I moved to Bay Shore 4 years ago, we've met a lot of friendly people but the BEST of all was our postman "Craig" he's professional and courteous, always has a charming smile, and most of all handles our package and mail with care. We've had other post people in between and they some times they'll put our mail in someone else mailbox, and I've found other people's mail in our mailbox... But with Craig I got my mail. He occasionally stops and play with my dogs, Craig has a huge heart great personality. You can tell he enjoys his job, Bay Shore Post Office is blessed the have a worker like Craig. Thank you Craig you're the best!”
“I've never had an issue here. Mostly just drop off packages. I appreciate that the dropbox is always working, there are a lot of usps places that have it fill up and get locked, then you have to go on line. I did go on line once or twice for mailing things and the employees were always helpful and courteous.”
