One of my favourite charity shops ever! Good prices & high quality clothes for a good cause. If you go on the first or last day of each month, you get 50% off the whole store.

I am a local and have been shopping here for over 10 years. Sadly the Quality of store has gone down hill. Had a HORRIBLE shopping experience with the manager. I spent over an hour & half trying on and creating outfits by picking out items I wanted to buy from her discounted rack. Gave at least 8 of the items to the girl to hold at the counter as i continued to shop. The manager went through those items, came up to me and said one of the dresses should not have been on the rack. okay no problem! When I went up to buy the rest of the pieces , The manager took them ALL AWAY into the back without even showing me or even giving me a chance to purchase what I had picked out and tried on, Wow!!!! It's like she used me to source out items to then change them to a higher ticketed price for another time when they were clearly tagged!!! It's not like the quality of these items were worth that much . She Left me feeling completely shocked and drained. Be careful of this manager switching pieces prices and even taking items back . one of worst shopping experiences I've ever had. A huge mistake made and then to not make up one accommodation to allow the customer to purchase one piece for The stores error is something I've never experienced . So disappointed

This is THE thrift store of the Hamptons, in my mind. You can always find a unique piece, grab a beach sweater or something high end enough to wear to a last-minute party invite. Of course there are always passovers in a thrift store. What do you expect? The latest designs, brand new, never worn with the price tag still on it? Well actually, though that is not the norm, I did find something like that there once. Last purchased Stella Jeans, very clean. $10. And hey, you know how much jeans pollute the water? If you ever saw it, you would never buy jeans new. Another time I went there, I got a beautiful Saks silk jacket with intricate detail. $20. I got compliments all night. Off peak midweek is the best time to go for slashed down prices, but of course that is the best time to go anywhere in the Hamptons. I like how fussy this thrift shop is though. The Retreat Boutique does not take E V E R Y thing as it has a tasteful donation base from that "playground of the rich and famous," set. They are passionate about supporting The Retreat, which is an excellent program reaching out to victims of domestic abuse. Thank goodness for The Retreat and this supportive thrift store. The owner is a gem and her little dog too.

"Also known as clothing found in old retreat bomb shelters boutique thrift store..." Just kidding. Yes some stuff is a bit dated but on a recent trip I got the most RAD high top adidas sneakers for $12.50!!! So she is worth the drive-by. Staff is very passionate about their store and will even sell you opposite sex clothing if you look at it. Amazing mix of housewares, jewelry, footwear, clothing, games and the like. You are sure to leave with something or at least be amazed by something else. Selection varies weekly so it makes a great spot to stop after your TJ Maxx excursion. If you dig this place you will like Ladies Village thrift store in East Hampton.

It's amazing what can be found here. The place gets lots of donations from people wanting to support the Retreat's safe house for battered women. Designer clothes and shoes, fun jewelry, beautifully framed art work, glass, china, silver - mostly plate, lamps, tables, chairs and couches. Dealers seem to troll the place, so clearly they think it's worth a visit. The place gets lots of unusual things which makes dropping by interesting. I've grabbed a handsome wall mirror ( $30), a great looking metal standing lamp ($15) which I spray painted black in about five minutes, and a nice mahogany side table ($35) recently. I put them all in my summer house and no one would ever guess they came from a thrift shop. It's located in Bridghampton's shopping center right across from TJ Max, so is easy to get to and parking's a breeze. Every time I buy something, I leave feeling I'd made out like a bandit ... and just done a good deed, as the money goes to a great cause.
