I knew of Mecox Bay Dairy from the Montauk farmers market where I had bought extraordinarily flavorful filet mignon and cheese from them a few years ago. I was so happy to see them this weekend at the Southhampton Art show and bought some more meat and cheese. Then I read the Yelp reviews talking about the Milk .. WOW! I had made cheeseburgers from the chopped meat and they were so tasty we just had to go get some more. The fresh raw milk is off the charts delicious. Definitely worth the trip and the extra $$ for this unbelievably fresh and yummy product! Your friends and family will ask "Where did you get this, it's so good?!"

Thank God & Mecox for Raw milk! Pasteurizing milk kills all the special enzymes that helps your body digest milk. No wonder so many people have dairy problems.

My fiance and I visited this farm for the first time today and we are already in love! We normally get our raw milk on the north fork but wanted to try something different. I have heard a lot about their cheeses as well. Betsy, the owner’s sister, came back from a farmer’s market right as we got there and offered us samples of the cheeses. We bought three kinds! Betsy and Art were very nice to speak with. It’s important to get to know your local farmers! There was also plenty of milk left in the afternoon when we got there so definitely no stocking issues to worry about. Plenty of meats in the freezers as well. Betsy also walked us into the barn and we met some of the calves. We will be back!

Trailblazers in the dairy farming community! Impeccable made cheeses, pasture raised turkeys! Amazing bacon! Cute farm stand and real cheese! Not pasteurized and just perfect!

Love this place. You can shop socially distanced at the small storefront, paying by cash or card on the honor system.The cheeses are very good. But I come for the raw milk. It's rich and creamy and outstanding. Sure, at $8 per quart, it's not cheap dairy. But it's worth it. (At that price point, though, I wish it came in a refillable glass bottle rather than plastic.)

This review is NOT a knock on the farm it’s about the Mecox Cheese Stand at the Farmers Market in Westhampton Beach. I’ve been going to the market in Westhampton for years and the older gentleman with the white beard serving the cheeses has ZERO personality. He’s not friendly, personable or willing to educate the consumer. His practice as a retailer is deplorable. I’m sure he is no doubt a Mecox family member however resting on your laurels and acting unprofessional as a family’s name representative is inexcusable. I don’t care who he is, the man needs to change his attitude as he’s a discrace to the family business.
