Pooch Parlor Mobile Dog Grooming Spa And Wellness
541 N State Rd, Briarcliff ManorWe had such a positive experience with Pooch Parlor!! Due to some scheduling issues on our end our puppy hadn’t been professionally groomed until she was 11 months old. As this was going to be her first experience, and later in her development than we had hoped, I wanted it to go well so that she would have a positive association with being groomed. We were so happy with our entire interaction with Pooch Parlor! Nicole was super responsive about scheduling and was able to accommodate our need to use a medicated shampoo. The location was easy to get to, and the salon itself was clean and welcoming. The staff were friendly and able to answer any questions. Nicole kept in touch with us during the appointment to let us know how our puppy was doing, and was honest about her being a bit hesitant about the blow dryer. When we picked her up, she looked (and smelled!) great. While her being well groomed was awesome, what was more important was that she was happy, relaxed, and in good spirits. Our puppy can be anxious at times, so it makes us as her caretakers feel so much more comfortable knowing she had a good experience. I would highly recommend Pooch Parlor and wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again. We’re excited to try their mobile option!

Pet Care
Animal Health Center
513 N State Rd, Briarcliff ManorThe mix of high+low reviews here is perplexing, but I can only speak to my own experience. I am so grateful that I found the Animal Health Center/Vet Village -- they gave us extraordinary care. My dog was in acute distress and I had seen 3 vets within a week, including a world renowned ER in Manhattan. All of them could tell me that something was wrong, but were not able to diagnose. All referred me out for further testing at providers that didn't have availability for months. Eventually I found the Animal Health Center/Vet Village. Dr. Haroush quickly assessed my dog, got him in for tests immediately, and within hours was able to consult with a neurologist, run tests, and provide a full diagnosis. He kept in touch day by day about progress, options, and financial implications. The vet tech and admin staff were kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. Dr. Haroush definitely has alpha surgeon energy, and is laser-focused on animal welfare, and less on sugarcoating things for the pet parent. I can understand if this style doesn't click for everyone. But I trusted his expertise and actually found him to be very compassionate. I see many comments here that say this clinic is expensive. It is, but so is vet care everywhere (again, in my experience. And we may have many factors to blame for that: I had already paid an incredible amount at other clinics that yielded no results. I paid a lot here too, but got the service I paid for: timely results, communication, and personalized support. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs full service and is struggling to find it.

SPCA Westchester and Cody's Clinic
590 N State Rd, Briarcliff ManorI adopted my best friend back in June, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the staff at SPCA Westchester. Everyone was incredibly kind, and dedicated to all of the animals there. For follow-up visits, we went to Cody's Clinic for vaccines, and the vet techs and phone staff were patient and supportive, answering all my questions as a nervous new pet parent :) Highly recommend!!!
