Do yourself a favor and called Richard the second you're considering installing a home theater, setting up in wall/in ceiling speakers, and getting it all connected in a way that works seamlessly with the touch of a button. My husband and I were foolish enough to think we could attempt to do these things ourselves. After we had already made a mess of it we called Richard to come in and save us - that's exactly what he did. He is such a lovely/fun/professional person to work with. Next time we know better than attempt the impossible and to call Richard to come do his magic. If we would have called him in the beginning like we should have - we would've saved lots of time, money, and so much stress. Thanks Richard!

Friendly, helpful owner. Had my turntable looked at and repaired within 30 mins and learned a good bit along the way. Will be back when its time to upgrade sound.

We have a sound system in our home that we purchased a number of years ago. The remote that we purchased at that time was beginning to show signs of its imminent demise. I contacted Enveloping Sound and met with Richard, who took the time to listen intently to our situation. He suggested that the remote we had was more advanced then what our needs were. He recommended a remote that was better suited for our system. Richard was able to identity other problems with our system and repair them. He was courteous, professional and a hell of a nice guy. We moved into a home that required extensive remodeling in Briarcliff Manor. It should have been used as a military bomb site, but then I would have nowhere to live. We wanted really nice mounted tv's above the fireplace in the living room, new tv in bedroom, and a mounted tv in a new exercise room. We needed new wiring for the house also. We interviewed several firms that would do it. What was great about Enveloping Sound was that they were fine with the fact that we did not need the living room to have the sound quality of Carnegie Hall. We had a major home remodel to spend money on. Richard understood our needs and set everything up to our satisfaction without upselling.

I purchased three different items from Richard, a turntable, amp and speakers. All of what he sells is great quality and the service I received was excellent. My son, the recipient of these is thrilled!! I highly recommend this company, you won't be disapointed.

Really great experience. Bought a pair of headphones and powered Dynaudio speakers, which Richard made sure I listened to, before I bought some other speakers, which I had read about. Glad he did, the difference was startling.

These guys rock I was in the market for a phono pre-amp, and I called them up. Richard was awesome working with me, he was able to recommend several options I had not heard of and was able to match up what I needed to what I had at a great price. Highly reccomend!

When it came time to update our TV and sound system we went to Enveloping Sound and spoke with Richard at some length about what we wanted. Richard walked us through the options and came up with a great system that fit our budget. We could never have achieved that result on our own. The wires are hidden and most of all the sound is AMAZING. I would highly recommend this company.

This store is awesome. I have an Anthem Receiver that is currently out of warranty. I was going to bring the receiver here for repair. It was too difficulty to go back to my previous dealer since I moved and it was just too far. Enveloping Sound is the closest authorized dealer for me. I spoke with Richard and he spent a lot of time with me over the phone troubleshooting the problem. He was able to figure out the problem and saved me $$$$ and time. I didn't have to pay for repair or buy a new receiver. The staff here is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely buy my next high end audio equipment here. They know much more than the guys at Best Buy.
