I have deleted my old review to make it easier and not give you opinion but the truth.
Stay away from Briarcliff Auto Services. And these are the reasons why.
Pascal and his entire shop does not have any vehicle type of certification. Therefore when they make a repair it a luck shot to see if they are right. I know I had 4 pedals, 3 throttles, and 2 cruise controls added. So talk about no knowledge.
Pascal is passive aggressive. He will not call or return calls, emails or texts until you flip out and then he won’t work with you. He is dishonest and a thief.
He has not responded to 2 calls and mail from the better business bureau. What is he hiding? Nothing to hide when you’re incompetent.
So stay away find a place that is open and honest.

This place really threw me for a loop. First I leaned the hard way Pascal Doran is a liar and not a single person there has vehicle certification. Suffice to say he installed an engine that he could not get to work for 2 years. Then he will not return calls, emails or text messages. He is a passive aggressive person who wants to intimidate you into an argument. He plays more Golf than works. Stay away from this guy. He is dishonest and a 2 face. He will cause more damage than good.Service: Engine repair

After trying multiple times at other repair shops I was recommend Pascal and crew to deal with a turbo problem I was having on my Santa Fe.They were able to diagnose the problem and recalibrate things into working condition. What sets Pascal apart is he seems to be a real master in his trade and all around nice person.Thank you and hopefully see you not to soon.

I’ve been using Pascal and Double R/Briarcliff Auto for years. He and his crew are the best. He’s honest and thorough. I’ve referred at least 5 friends to him. He’s done repairs to my Subaru, Acura, Wrangler and Audi. Always fixed and always timely.Services: Auto brake repair

I found Pascal and his shop to be knowledgeable, courteous, and found and repaired prior work done by another shop that was shoddy at best. The price was fair, the work was done on time. As the owner of 4 cars, I plan on using Pascal going forward. He has already handled 2, including an old Porsche that he proved very knowledgeable on. I recommend them highly.Services: Oil change

I’m 37 years old, and since I’ve been able to drive at 16, I have never found a “go to” mechanic. The expression “honest mechanic” became an oxymoron in my experience. I stumbled across Double R by accident, and I’m SO glad I did. I knew of Pascal years ago, and he was as charismatic and friendly then as he is now. There’s just something about his shop that’s different. They’re extremely thorough and take pictures while they’re performing a service so you can see exactly what’s going on. Prices are fair, he doesn’t push things on you, and he looks at the big picture of your car’s life and gives tips so it will last. So it’s taken me a little over 20 years of driving, but I think I found my go to mechanic!Services: Vehicle safety inspection
