“A surprising, hidden commodity in a lovely part of New Fairfield! The shop is trendy, carries a wide array of sizes, and has a variety of styles and fits for all aesthetics. I particularly loved their assortment of dresses, jackets, and pant options. And prices are fairly comparable to what you would pay at any major retailer, if not lower for certain items—beats having to take a trip to the mall!
Currently, I have a mental image of several items that I would love to go back for and I’m definitely excited to stop back in again and see what else they have to offer!”

“The owner, Mora, makes you feel right at home. She's owned this store in Ridgefield (previously called Children's Corner) for 25 years. However, 15 years ago she decided to expand. So, she moved to Bailey Avenue in Ridgefield + sells consignment clothing for both women + children. (Sorry guys!) I've been driving by this location for years. Kept telling myself that I really ought to stop in some day. TODAY WAS THE DAY! The entrance is deceiving - you walk down about 6 stairs + open the door. The amount she has to offer is amazing! All sorted by type: active, dresses, skirts, blouses, et.c. Do yourself a favor + stop by. She even has a clearance rack. I picked up a lovely bathing suit + a silky blouse.”
“I have been in the Danbury CT store.. Lynn happened to be working the 2x’s I was there.. she is great! I tried on so many things and it didn’t phase her. I got personal attention and walked out with great purchases. Definitely a client for life! Haha! Going back soon for jeans.”

“Shopping at Ruby Sue has been the most enjoyable retail experience for me over the last 20 years that I have been supporting this beautifully curated women, owned small business. I love coming in, because the women working there truly know how to mix and match the merchandise to make you feel good about almost anything you try on! I always leave feeling like I've gotten a style refresh; fun and confident going into the rest of my days. This is not only because of the ever changing inventory, but it is because of the kind hearted nature of the knowledgeable staff. These women go out of their way to make sure every one feels beautiful in what they try on, and themselves! They do this without feeling pushy, which is so important to me when shopping.One more thing I would like to mention is that over the years of shopping here, I have come to know that this business was started by a single mother, who raised and supported her family through the support of our local community. “The woman with the long hair in the Baby Gap section was incredibly helpful and is fantastic with kids! My 7 month old was starting to get tired and cranky, but this sales associate brought a smile to his face and made him laugh. We needed a dressier outfit for him and she showed us the options they had in store in his size. My son is tall, so we were looking for something in size 12-18. Some of the dress shirts had buttons that could be dangerous for a 7 month old. She brought it to our attention, which we were very grateful for. We ended up finding a polo for him and a lot of other cute items. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely return. The only thing that could be improved would be more sizes in stock.”
