The staff and pharmacists are extraordinary here - always so helpful. I almost always get greeted and asked if I need anything when I walk in. The pharmacists always answer call promptly and cheerfully help sort out any glitches with prescriptions that come in.

The only problem with this location is the they do not follow up with the hours at 9:50pm door is closed when they closed at 10:00pm this is bad for business.

One of the worst pharmacy I ever dealt with. Went to my doctor August 2, 2023 which was in white plains N.Y. Had a prescription put in for this pharmacy. Before I got home received a voicemail that my prescription was denied. So I thought it was my employers fault and my employer was denying it. So I waited until my next appointment with my doctor which was in September. While I was waiting somehow I was able to contact my case manager ( from work) and the case manager informed me that no request for mediation came across their desk and the case manager also stated they would never deny mediation. So I finally get another prescription and once again it’s denied. So at this point I’m getting frustrated because I am dealing with pain. So once again I call the pharmacy and spoke to a young man and in the conversation I asked are you sure you are using the right claim number. The male employee insured me that any workman’s comp will automatically show up in their system. I felt it to be odd , but I don’t know so I take his word . Waited another week called back and spoke to the same gentleman and at this time I am furious because the pharmacy tells me again it’s been denied again. So at this time I am agitated the young man passed the phone off to a young lady . At this moment we figure out that all these months from August to now October I wasn’t receiving my medications because the pharmacy was using a workman’s comp case that had previous been closed . (.Now I’m livid and the young lady didn’t deserve what happened next ). So now I’m pissed off and I’m expressing in my tone and my verbiage but not being disrespectful and the young lady says to me “ well why didn’t you tell us” and I was still able to talk and explain myself. But what she said next I just lost it . The person at the pharmacy said to me do you want to help you or not . I cursed her out and felt bad later .
Now fast forward I was receiving my medication through rite aids delivery service twice and after my operation in January 2024 . Rite aid pharmacy started again with their nonsense doctor put prescription in February and the pharmacy said waiting for approval it’s the same case . Also sent my spouse inside the pharmacy and the pharmacy wanted my case number. So I would have chalked off as a lost and use another pharmacy but I can’t let rite aid pharmacy in Brewster to treat another hard working person like I was treated. And even when I stated I was going to make OPD complaint the representative of the pharmacy said go head.

I came in for a prescription and they told me I didn’t have the correct number for my insurance when I did so then I left and called my insurance. They insisted I did not have a BIN number and I only an ID number on my essential plan. I then called and was met with the most RUDE employee who was clearly bothered by the fact that I even called without a BIN number even after relaying exactly what I was told my my insurance Company. my insurance company stated I did not have or need this number once again….He essentially told me to go elsewhere in a vulgar manner because he was not willing to figure this out with me or help me in anyway. I then had the script called into cvs and had NO ISSUE AT ALL. rude behavior, unprofessional, unhelpful. I will never go back.

The pharmacist here is great! Very helpful and caring and you can feel he loves his job. Upon leaving the store, attendant behind the counter even said good bye" . Gave me a "feel-good" feeling about the place. Little things like these make a difference in the overall experience. Glad I use them for my pharmacy needs.

Absolutely the best pharmacists I have ever had the good fortune to have as my pharmacists. They pay attention to everything: from drug compatibilities and vaccine updates to the logistics of getting your monthly meds all on one pick up cycle, and prescriptions sorted out and renewed. Complete professionals.

Good location and good prices. Usually have one cashier unless line is long and open another register. I like the store because it has what I need.

I went to this rite aid to reload a prepaid card which I do all the time. The cashier named Barbara and manager on duty this night had no clue how the process went about and held up 2 registers in the process and tried to say that it was me messing up the process. Absolutely horrible customer service.

The store is always in disarray and there's no one ever to help out. But the thing that left a rotten taste in my mouth was the last time I was there. A vendor from a different company came in to deliver drinks and the so-called manager yelled at him and was extremely nasty in front of myself and a few other customers. I think she might've felt threatened for respect or challenged. I don't know . But regardless, there is no professionalism or customer service here... especially among the "manager".

Hands down the team at Rite Aid in Brewster has to be one of the friendliest and helpful ...The pharmacist's are helpful and caring and have a great deal of knowledge ..The associates are also helpful and caring ....

They advertise available vaccine slots online even though they are not actually available. Their online booking system is a mess and hangs after you have completed all the information. When attempting to get one of the available slots in person they make excuses for refusing to accept further appointments, while allowing them to continue to appear as available online.
