“My task was to digitize old, somewhat curled up World War II pictures my father had taken as a B-17 pilot based in England. The pictures had been grouped into various categories and some of the photos had notations on the back. One of the reasons for having the pictures digitized was to be able to upload them to a website dedicated to the B-17 .My contact at Joseph Merritt was Rosemary Cairo. Her knowledge, expertise and thoroughness made the process uncomplicated and smooth.Before proceeding with the project she emailed copies of how the photos would appear and the cost to do the work.She kept the photos in their categories, paired the photos with their notes on the back when needed and offered options to enhance the quality of the images. Once completed Rosemary made them available on line for downloading and on memory sticks.Joseph Merritt in general and Rosemary in particular did a wonderful job and I am grateful for that.Sincerely,Peter Thompson”

Despite his incredible effort to package it safely, the package was damaged later on its journey. Jim's attention to the resolution of this damage was unmatched - I truly felt valued and he fought for my insurance claim to be given the proper attention it deserved. In the end, all was resolved properly, but I couldn't have done it without Jim going above and beyond on my behalf.
