“I have mixed feelings about this place because their products are delicious, we left with 6 bottles. Their cocktails were great. The service, atmosphere, and all that was very friendly. But my god there was a smell in there like somebody forgot to flush. The bathroom was in the main tasting room and the room was waaaay too small, but it sorta smelled like someone stepped in dog poo and trekked it in there. I am hoping this was a one time thing and not the usual smell of the place. It was a very rainy and gross day so that could have played a part. I would still go back here though, they made you feel like family.”
“Love this place! Nice people, good lunches, good soup, very big variety, lots of spices, several sample stations. Get the chocolate cake!!! And pies!!! And potato soup!”
“Old time grocery store with three aisles and everything you need. Great meat counter and a place to grab some fresh vegetables, a selection of pies and some special cakes and pastries including whoopie pies.”
“We're taking a day trip around Penn Yan to find local Amish and Old Order Mennonite run stores and food. This store was a classic example. They had lots of local foods, a deli, some baked goods, canned foods, jams, candies, cheeses, and bulk foods and ingredients. They had a few Amish goods that I recognized as being shipped from Lancaster and Indiana Amish areas. The staff were very friendly, and this was a great stop!”
“Their pickled garlic is to die for. I buy jars and jars at a time (cause I live far). So far my favorites are the Lemon Dill and the Sweet & Spicy. I can eat the whole jar and drink the juice in one sitting!!!”
“Can be pricey at some points and some things. With that being said there is also great deals countless ways to save here and there throughout the week. Also is the only store in town that had a pro-duce stan (fruits&vegetables). Warning though don't go to close to the deli you will end up over spending. Not because the prices are too high, its because you will want everything you lay your eyes on. Food there is A+++++++. You been warned so don't cry when you leave broke but full stomached lol.”

204 Liberty St, Penn Yan“Penn Yan's Aldi is one of the most consistently clean and well kept stores I've ever been to. I've never experienced a rude employee, have almost never seen an empty spot on any shelf, the produce and meat selection and quality is great 95% of the time, AND they have curbside and delivery options! We've used the curbside twice now. Both times the pick-up times were as early as 1.5 hours after the order is placed, and today's was ready even sooner. The bagging is perfect, no items missed etc. My great experiences and the hours and stress this service has saved me motivated me to write the review. Thank you PY Aldi, for giving us such a clean, organized, nice place to shop”
“Great place to get supplies we needed for the garden and greenhouse. They have in stock inventory with Friendly people who know their business. Large assortment of baskets and pots of many sizes.”
“Need a keg for a party come here instead of traveling to Wegmans it was about $5 more than Wegmans but didn't have to leave town. Plus they have good cheap beer prices.”
“I bought my vehicle from Marissa Stephans and I had a great experience. She is polite, kind and professional and answered all of my questions and concerns quickly and effectively. 10/10 recommend. Will be going back to friendly dodge.”
“They had almost everything we needed. Oddly, they had no place on the shelves for nail polish remover. So strange. I even asked and searched with the employees. Otherwise, great store. They even had a swim suit for my brother who forgot his! That was a great surprise.”
“Past 3 times I've been here I've gotten the end piece of the bread. Got two sandwiches today and both were made with end pieces. Sandwiches are usually delicious there when they aren't mostly crust. (Edit) went back and ordered more sandwiches and asked for no crust pieces. They were delicious.”
