They don’t take care of their properties... I live behind one of their properties and their fence that back up to my property is falling apart. I contacted the company to come and fix it and they came over made a huge deal about how they were going to take care of it and fix it. I do have a toddler who is very active and if he were to get out of our fence he could get hurt/ escape through their fence. The gentleman I talked to Patrick, seemed like he was very nice and was going to help. How wrong was I to think this company would take care of their property. They slid the thinnest piece of plywood they could find into the hole. There is still exposed sharp pieces that I guess they could not fix the proper way. Company’s that don’t take care of there property should be fined. It is appalling that they can get away with not taking care of the properties they own.

I was in the process of renting an apartment at the gateway apartments at 5001 Transit Rd. Depew, NY 14043 and I talked to a property manager named Donna and I was going to rent a apartment with my brother I signed the lease and the very next day my brother backed out. So I called Donna and said I can't take the apartment I can't afford it on my own and she got very rude with me and said " You wasted my time and effort so because you wasted my time I'm taking 350 dollars off your security deposit." And on top of that she said you'll get what's left of your security deposit back at the end of the month. I signed the lease May 7th 2019 and she told all this to me today May 8th. I asked why do I have to wait almost a full month to get my money back and she said she doesn't deal with stuff like that. I need that money to live off for the rest of the month. She even told me why do I need the money back so fast. REALLY WHY DO I NEED MONEY! Who says stuff like that. I called Bella Vista Group about this and will keep calling till I get my money back. Does it matter if the lease was signed by 1 tenant and not the other tenant that was supposed to live there to? I'm never dealing with these people again especially that rude woman. I don't know when you'll get your security deposit back. I MEAN COME ON! Ridiculous. P.S. I never even stepped in the apartment me and my brother were going to rent. I guess her doing her job was me and my brother wasting her time. Ridiculous

I highly recommend looking elsewhere for an apartment. Not only does the management office never answer their phone, they will also never return your phone call/voicemails. When you do finally get to speak to someone (which means you had to take time out of your day to drive down to the office) they will lie to you for their benefit. This company is not to be trusted and they have absolutely no respect for their tenants.

I wish we would have never moved in here. There has been a potato bug problem since we arrived over a year ago and it has only gotten worse. Yes, they are harmless, however they are disgusting and embarrassing when we have company. We have now submitted a number of maintenance requests (4+) and the bugs keep coming back, to the point where they are crawling up our walls, on the furniture and literally line the interior perimeter. The response is that the maintenance person will spray, however, they know the building is sitting on a huge infestation of bugs. Simple fix doesn't help.Not to mention, this place backs up to a trail park on genesee and over 8 residents had their tires slashed. One person from management said they were going to look into rental reimbursement because it was such an epidemic ... needles to say, that never happened.Cannot wait to leave here.

This company is horrible. They will let your place fall apart while charging you and arm and leg for fixing it up. They use people from the street with no experience to do their repairs. They pick tenant who will not pay rent and will tear your place up. If you are smart do not hire them.

I stayed in their Gateway apartment since it was built. My advise is:stay away or you will not get off them when you wanted, the management team will try everything possible as excuses to take advantage from you.Bottomline, get a lawyer to deal with the management team or stay away for your own sake.

DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!!! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!!! Had Carbon Monoxide in our building and they wanted us to wait until Monday! Charges their tenants for repairs!!! Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!
