I was in need for a local mechanic after our family's favorite mechanics shop of 20 years suddenly closed. We thought we would try a few in the area before settling on one. We tried Phil and haven't bothered going anywhere else. Fair prices, honest, friendly.

Does things right! Took a car to Mavis in Oneida for an exhaust leak. Over $1000 paid (and they kept the old catalytic converter) to mess it all up and throw codes left and right. Got the parts back (after a fight), took it to Phil and he used the old parts and did it right for under $200! Use Phil for all your mechanic needs and stay away from chain store mechanics! Phil Davis Auto Repair will always have my business!!!!

My daughter attends the college in Morrisville and was having an issue with her car. They dropped everything to take a look and was able to locate the problem and fix it. It's nice to have a trustworthy shop in the area especially for parents of students that attend the local Suny.

I'll always take my car here over anywhere else in the area. Took my older car elsewhere for an inspection and the other people tried to tell us that we needed repairs done that were not necessary. Not at Phil Davis. They know exactly what needs to be fixed and what is optional. They are an honest car repair shop and even though they may be a bit more expensive to get a service like an oil change, it's worth every penny to get your car fixed here.
