The young woman at the counter was very helpful. i found one thing I needed and the other wasn’t in stock. She made suggestions of other local stores where I might find the item. Trees has a great book selection of the many facets of Adirondack Life!

I stumbled upon this store and was so impressed by their extensive book selection! Lots of local authors, books, guidebooks and more. They also have a really great selection of home goods, art, gifty items that feel special and unique to the Adirondacks.

Trees Gifts and Books stands in wonderful sharp contrast to the many other trashy or overly kitschy tourist gift shops that abound. Almost everything in our landmark Bolton Landing store is either the work of an Adirondack author or artist, is about the Adirondacks or is uniquely of interest to Adirondackers. Here, you'll quickly realize that Lake George and the Adirondacks are full of talented people making everything from soaps and lip balms to monumental folk art fish sculptures.
