Just visited the area for the first time and launched my boat and stored my truck and trailer at Norowal Marina. The facilities were immaculate and the entire staff was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

I don’t think anyone understands how hard these people work , day in and day out to make your experience on the lake a fun, SAFE and enjoyable trip . This marina is so well run , from Joe and Frank in the parking lot , and then the ladies and gentlemen ( Matt, Don, Jen and Sara ) in the office to all the young men and girls who work tirelessly running the docks to ensure your boats and family are safe .
As a docker here for 4 years we have had the absolute pleasure of being customers here and know that our boat and jetski was safe . It is always a quick on in and out process as they prep everyone so there are no long lines, no many how many boaters come in . They also try their hardest , no matter how busy to accommodate their customers, so be sure to treat them well ! Good customer service is hard to come by !!
Thank you Norowal for serving our lake for decades! You are invaluable to our community and our beautiful, beloved lake!!

Very convenient for island campers. Marina is close to everything, the islands, town groceries etc. plus you have access to your vehicle in case of emergencies (although boat ramp is open only during business hours).
Is it expensive? maybe to townsfolk who live nearby, but to out-of-staters planning summer vacations it is reasonable.
I laugh when I hear people complain about owners attitude.
You would have a bad attitude too listening to out-of-staters complain about everything the last 50 years....
It is a marina. You are paying to park, use the ramp and docks to access the lake. That's it.

I've been going to Norowal since I was a little kid. This place is excellent. Bring cash because the service is so good that you'll feel compelled to tip one of these hard working kids quite often. They always go above and beyond, in my experience. Showers on site, nice bathrooms, new docks, great employees and exceptional service. Just a pleasure. This is how you run a successful business in lake George. They're always customer first. I can't say enough nice things about them. They're excellent in every facet.

Weekend of 8/2-4/24
It all started with a phone call earlier in the week. Absolutely great staff and very helpful with communication. The staff was very helpful with dropping my wave runners in the water and even helped me load up after. Since I was staying for the weekend, they even let me keep my trailer there Friday through Sunday and kept it safe. I came back Saturday and it was great again until the Load up. There was one dock hand who didn’t know how to crank up my waverunner the proper way and broke my strap. I then pulled out of the water and went up to the main building and asked if they could cut me a break since their employee broke it. The douche bag tall guy who couldn’t make eye contact told me that my strap was “dry rotted”. They were horrible at compensating or even cutting me a deal and left me with a broken strap. He basically told me to kick rocks and buy the one they had in stock for about 100 bucks over price. Never had a problem with the straps and neither did their other dock hands. After that, I went back the next day. The dock hand that broke my strap (dark hair female) had her tail between her legs and couldn’t even look at me. I couldn’t wait to leave that place and will never be going back. The prices are insanely high. Waste of money!

I get you are able to set your own rates for launching a boat. But this is getting a little ridiculous. We arrived at 3 pm at the NYS inspection station. No problem there, just the usual. My family just wanted to go for an hour to swim off the boat. Once past the station, I was greeted by employees on golf carts. Who helped me get my boat ready and even unhooking the straps, setting up my lines and canopy. I quickly asked them what the price was to launch, and they didn't know. 25 minutes into this, I finally made it to the ramp. There, you are greeted with the register where they charge you. I was facing a $14 bill for parking my truck. $14 for parking my trailer and $26 for using the launch. $54 in total! Let's just say I quickly undid everything and left. I was shocked. There needs to be a clearer price board somewhere. Who in their right mind would pay $54 to launch a boat. It's just insane. You have been warned. Don't get scammed. I'll continue to use million dollar beach where it's $10 for the entire day. Happy boating.
Edit: I hope everyone reading your careless and classless response sees how you made my point exactly. Go take a long walk off a short dock with lots of rocks in your pocket.

We have been using this launch for years for our family vacations! They have such a smooth rolling system here. I love that they help you get your boat in & out of the water. They have wonderful customer service. Very well oiled machine! We will continue to use this launch.

Very friendly staff that worked with us launching our inflatable boat and cutting us a break on launch/parking fees. Even let us store our boat in the garage overnight. Another point for being closest to the Islands.

Always take good care of us. Ask for Buzz’s number if you need a taxi out to the islands!
