Lisa was really rude when I tried to return a shirt bought an hour before, because I changed my mind. I have a home in Bolton and frequent the tepee shop regularly. I won’t be coming back!

I love this store! It’s a must visit when in Lake George. They are so welcoming and helpful. I have purchased many Adirondack gifts, lotions, candles, clothing, and pillows from this store.

Update 9-13-23: Really appreciate the response from the store. I’m fairly certain neither hat is a kids’ hat, unless somebody forgot to mark it as such. I always check all labels and tags carefully when purchasing hats. Neither hat was marked as being for kids on the outside or inside.Original review: I’ve been going up to Bolton Landing for many years and always buy something at this store— maybe a shirt, maybe a hat, perhaps coasters, possibly one of the nice, wooden boxes pictured with wildlife. Fun selection of items and very kind, helpful staff. The prices are high, generally speaking, on things like mugs, dish towels, and coasters, but the clothing seems in line with other gift shops of this kind. One word of caution regarding the baseball caps. Some of the locally-themed ones have less fabric than traditional baseball caps. They are small! I purchased two this year, one with an anchor that says “Bolton Landing” (made by Triangle Sport Headwear) and another with an image of Lake George in the center (no manufacturer on label).Cute hats, but I did not realize how much smaller these hats are than traditional baseball hats. The BL one is a full inch shorter all around; the LG one is about 1/2” shorter all around. I did the comparison with about 15 other, similar hats at home.Yes, you can adjust the width in the back, but that doesn’t fix the problem of less material coming down over your head, leaving the hat placement insecure. I have the hats on the loosest fitting possible. They are still sitting about two inches above my ear. Definitely could not wear one of these hats kayaking on LG!

What a great place to pick up gifts from when traveling through Bolton Landing! Was recommended to me by close friends and family!! There is something for everyone in this one store. You don’t need to look any further. Such great service and warm feeling when shopping here! We will definitely be back!

I love this place! The owners have gone to great lengths to display so many high quality, reasonably priced, local as well as made in America items. Love the hand made wooden ornaments. Great vacation keepsakes! Great gifts!gi
