Excellent experience, as always. Our group has rented boats from F.R. Smith & Sons for 10+ years for our annual group camping trip. The staff is always kind and helpful as we make several trips from the campsites with our gear. I highly recommend using this company. Plus, it's so fun to play fetch with the company dog! I truly can't recommend them enough!

As always FR Smith & Sons did an excellent job with our boat rental. The 21' Sea Ray was in in perfect shape and performed great for the entire 8 day vacation. I was with a big group and Smith and Sons was super accommodating! Everyone had clean and lovely boats. We were able to stop back at the marina mid way through our time slot and use the bathrooms again. Very safe and very fun.

If you're going to Lake George and thinking about renting a boat, don't think twice, go straight to FR Smith & Sons Marina!! The location is excellent, and docking is easy. If you can drive a car, you can drive a boat. (You just have to watch a short safety video.) They make the check in & out process super quick and easy. The boats are so beautiful and comfortable. And Scott is the best! He is the epitome of customer service. I forgot to bring a hat and he gave me 2 hats for free. He gave us a map and advice on where to explore for fishing, waterskiing, etc. We had an absolute blast. We can't wait to go back on their boats next year! - Karen, Bernardo & Mateo

My family has been renting boats from a variety of marinas at Lake George for years. A few years ago we tried FR Smith and Sons and have been choosing them ever since. The staff have been exceptionally friendly and helpful in a way we haven't seen from other marinas in the area. All of the boats we've rented have been of very high quality. Their prices are fair and their location is great. We would highly recommend FR Smith & Sons Marina.

My family and I had a great time on our pontoon boat. They have tubes, lifejackets, and an anchor for you. There are plenty of cupholders and storage, they give you great spots to check out and it is very safe if you follow the instructions.

What an easy process to rent a boat for half day. Scott and his daughter were super accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.
