The chateau is a special place to Dine when you are at lake george. The cuisine is spectacular! The staff is attentive, friendly and expert in making your experience a memorable one! Kudos to the entire staff...heard to single out any of the staff as they all are so fantastic but I will say...Evan, Andrea and Lena are amazing! The chateau is priced appropriately for a fine dining experience!

This was actually out second time because the first time was great. This was supposed to a special anniversary evening of great food and experience. Our french onion soup allegedly the large crock was small and the cheese wasn't even melted. You could see and almost pick off the 3 slices of cheese. I specifically ordered my filet rare 120degree salt and peper it came out medium. Sent it back. My wife ordered the actual château Brion fillet medium and it came out medium rare which was probably supposed to have been my fillet.  he would think if they're going to charge you $68 for a fillet they'd be able to get it right

This was our first visit to The Chateau and it was outstanding. The romantic setting was unexpected and lovely. Our server, Leslie, was knowledgable and very attentive, and the food was outstanding. My husband and I both had the venison - amazing. Our friends' meals were also outstanding. We will definitely go again.

Got there at 7:30 pm. We were seated outside under a tent. They had string lights crisscrossing the tent. Really Nothing amazing about atmosphere. Service was excellent. Server was very attentive, friendly. Food was good, not great for the money. I ordered the Short Ribs on a bed of Herbed Faro with tri-colored carrots. The dish arrived with a very small portion of Short Ribs on a very very BIG portion of faro and one small carrot. The whole dish was faro. Dish should be called Herb Faro with a taste of Short Ribs and a tiny carrot. My husband ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu. There was only a VERY thin piece of ham inside. Food tasted good but overpriced for the money. The interior did look very pretty.

The food is simply amazing. I had the pan seared snapper and my husband had Chateaubriand. Both were delicious. Our server was so attentive and the ambiance is so romantic and serene

Great place ...been going for years....but they have to really Up their game and Do better on the Sea Food (only fresh seafood is acceptable for a place like this-they need to Get a New Seafood vendor )...Everything Else is still really good and really worth going

Our first time here, we had seen this restaurant on Food Network's "Summer Rush", it did not disappoint. We had the Escargot app, it was great. My wife had the Calamari app, for dinner, while I had the Chicken Cordon Bleu, both were delicious, service was prompt and pleasant.

My husband had the chicken cordon blu and loved it. I had the prime rib special which was about 1/2 inch thick (thin), over cooked and 57.00. I was disappointed. Our server was great and the atmosphere was beautiful.

The service & food is absolutely amazing!! The atmosphere was just perfect. If we lived there I would be dining there all the time! Anytime we come up I reserve! We had brought my friend & she absolutely enjoyed it & said it was her favorite place !! See you next year, but keeping my fingers crossed we come sooner!!

I was extremely disappointed in this restaurant. I ordered the Chilean Sea Bass, which was extremely expensive. I should have realized something was wrong when they brought my husband the wrong meal. I kept looking at my fish thinking that this looks nothing like sea bass. They gave me someone else's red snapper. Definitely confirmed when the table on the side of us actually received their sea bass only to return for some reason! Not worth the drive or expense in my opinion.

Never judge a restaurant on a holiday. We here dined on Labor Day. There were highs and lows with this experience. It is not about the problem, but how you resolve them. That being said, the restaurant bent over backwards to resolve some issues. Appetizers and salads were good. Of all the entrees we had, the short rib dinner was the best. The view of the lake was nice. There were great outdoor dining options with fire pits as well.

Chateau Is a beautiful place ..outdoor space in nice weather is fantastic! Food is great! Price is what you expect for an upscale dining experience! Very enjoyable we will be back!

This is by far the most fabulous dining experience in Lake George/Bolton Landing. The food is spectacular. The service is on par with some of the best restaurants in NYC. The view and location are magical. Book it immediately or you will regret it.

We loved Chateau on the lake, we couldn't have had more fun with Diana, and Leslie our waitress was lovely. The music on Friday night was absolutely incredible. Best spot in lake george and the adirondacks!

We have been to The Chateau in the off season and had excellent food. Unfortunately, this time we were served snow crab which was not properly cooked ( filled with water) and chewy. The special steak (rib eye) was served cold, and drenched in sauce in addition to a rub. The blueberry cake was delicious. The service was excellent. The view of the lake was obsured by tents when sitting on the porch.
