When you are employed by a business and you're scheduled to start at 7:30, that means you are at your workspace, with your hands on that keyboard at precisely 7:30. Not just roaring up at 7:29, entering the building, turning on the lights, using the can, then unlocking the door and starting to work at 7:40. Just saying.

This is the 3rd time I have had blood drawn by Milagros. That Lady is pure gold. She is always kind and gentle, and before I know it, she is done. She is the only one who works at the Smithtown Ave. Bohemia location. She does intake, paperwork and the blood draws. Even when very busy, she is so efficient that the wait time is minimal. I always feel like I am in good hands when I see Milagros and I hope Sunrise is treating her well as she deserves that! (And I don't think there will be too many phlebotomists willing to be a "one man band" if she ever decides to leave.)

The technician Milagros kept a smile,and greeted everyone this morning. Unfortunately, this young lady was working alone, doing registration,triage and drawing blood! Shame on management. Poor girl was faced with a customer, almost fainting,pale and dizzy! Milagros handled it with hands down. What if she needed help!! All alone. Please consider additional staff.

Today i happen to come in very sacred because I usually pass out all time. I happen to see a new girl by name of milagro. she had a very difficult patient calling her names and she keep it very professional and never stoped smiling and greeted everyone very professional as they came in. This young girl has magical hands she talked to me the hole time keep me calm, I keep waiting to pass out because over 20 years i always pass out. First time ever and I wasn’t down. Also very first time a sunrise employee was ever nice, professional, and took time to make sure i was good to go. I am going to any lab this girl works in, now going on she will be the only one doing my labs.

I have narrow veins and my phlebotomist Milagra was so kind, patient and professional. She answered all my questions and put me at ease.

Overall Sunrise Medical Labs is difficult to deal with and I would recommend unless forced by your insurance you go somewhere like quest who know what they are doing with billing and testing. I only ever went to Sunrise because it was close.

The worst experience at a sunrise I have ever had. The nurse Erin grilled me with the most personal questions about my urine test in front of the ten patients in the waiting room including my 8 and 6 year old kids. I was beyond embarrassed and close to tears. I have never been spoken to so rudely by any healthcare provider in my life. Please do yourself a favor and use any other Sunrise location. Don’t get yourself embarrassed here. No privacy here and complete Hipaa violation here.

SILVANA IS THE BEST! Even after drinking plenty of water beforehand I usually have difficulty getting blood drawn because my veins are hard to find for a lot of offices. She assessed both arms and found it and drew blood on the first attempt. (Rare for me). It was also painless. She was professional and pleasant to deal with. From what I saw the process was quick and easy for everyone. I highly recommend this place, and highly recommend SILVANA. Thank you SILVANA.

I just got done blood work here this morning and the lady that worked the front desk and took my blood was fast and gentle! I would go back again!
