“I came in here today after attempting to shop at the Smithtown location, where I was completely ignored and never helped. After waiting fifteen minutes, I Googled the nearest Aboff's and found this one. From the time I walked, I was greeted. I told the gentleman everything I needed to do for my home, and he helped me get all of the required materials. After awhile, another employee stepped in because I needed to decide between the types of drop cloths I needed. This was just a wonderful experience for me. I have a lot to do in my home and the staff went out of their way to help me...especially after I explained my experience at the Smithtown location. They apologized and made sure I left with a smile. I definitely recommend coming here. They are so helpful and kind. When I'm ready to paint, I will definitely come here to purchase my colors. P.S. I chose Aboff's because they specifically specialize in paint. I wanted to be able to ask questions about my particular job and get really specific answers and the supplies from someone who knows the ins and outs. I don't get that from the bigger stores. I did a lot of research to know what questions to ask since I'm a DIYer, and the staff took their time to answer me.”

“I used to go to the coram location, however it closed. Which is a shame, now the closest store in Farmingville. Luckily enough the manager Vin moved over to this store. Vin is EXCELLENT. He’s EXTREMELY knowledgeable in every aspect of painting. Always had a great attitude and takes care of damn near every customer that comes into that store. I run a complex out in coram and we use multiple paint colors and it’s very easy to confused but not for Vin. He treats everyone like they are his number 1 priority and client. AbOffs paint selection alone is superior to all the other brands, but then to have an employee like Vin at your store is an excellent combo. Genuinely hope the owners of Aboff recognize the work this man puts in day in and day out. They got a gem ? in that place !”
“The Sayville Brinkmann store is the absolute best! They are so helpful, the store is clean and beautiful. They carry everything you need! I brought in a lamp today that I was having an issue with. Gabe offered to take a look, and within 15 minutes I had my lamp fixed and even better than it was before. A few weeks back i needed glass replaced on a painting, and they replaced that for a reasonable price as well. Thank you Gabe and Sayville Brinkmann for being the best hardware store around!”

“These guys are solid and super helpful. BM paint is far superior to Sherwin-Williams. I once threw away a full gallon of expensive SW paint after trying to brush it on a sanded smooth front door. That garbage didn't self-level and dried so fast that you couldn't brush it smooth without tearing it. I will never again buy paint from Lowes or Home Depot.”

“I did not come in here to shop today, I came in because my daughter was in today’s 4th of July Parade on Main Street; while she was dancing in the parade with her school, she became ill due to the heat. This store was the only one that we could go into that was open and had air conditioning. There was a table with chairs where we my daughter was able to sit. The AMAZING STAFF brought her water. To our amazement Glynis who happened to be working there today is an EMT!!! And was better able to help. She took my daughter’s pulse, brought more cold water, cold compresses, and snacks. She checked her pulse again made sure she was feeling better. Long story short this Sherwin - Williams staff is by far the best and most friendliest. Thank you to all who help my girl. You are incredibly amazing.”
