The manager owner was great with me spontaneously dropping my car off for a state inspection and returning a few days later for new tires (which I knew I would need eventually to when I took the car in) at a reasonable price.

Kev's is a fantastic shop. He services my companies fleet of work trucks, as well as our personal vehicles. Guy is very honest, will give you the low down on what you need and what you don't-this is not a short sighted businessman. If you're in the area, this is the place to go.

I've been to Kev's before but just for an oil change years ago when I had no clue how to do things. Since I'm a DIYer, and usually got screwed by other mechanic shops, I learned basic maintenance and repairs.....until I got a major problem that I couldnt tackle. I knew they were in the area and gave them a call explaining my problem and schedule. Kev was very accommodating and upfront. Repaired my vehicle within 24hrs. It rides like a different car. Such a great job. They have renewed my faith, that there are still great mechanics willing to help and NOT break the bank on the customer. People have their "go to" mechanics, and Kevs has become my place. Thanks again guys. My "Rogue" thanks you too?

I was referred to this mechanic from a friend. I have to say this was one of the best mechanics I have ever been too. He is EXTREMELY honest, Professional, and even though it's always busy he manages to still get you out in time! I moved from queens and needed to find a mechanic andI hit the jack pot! If your looking for a mechanic you are in good hands. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! He also has beautiful plants and its very clean too!

Many great experiences at Kev’s. Been going there for about 4 years for all my routine and not so routine car services. Always fair prices and fast service. Always get a ride to and from my office which is 5 minutes away. Highly recommend, thanks for the great service, even on the tough jobs, don’t find many businesses like this anymore.

I own a stone fabrication company. We park our trucks inside our shop at the end of the day. Unfortunately the 1st truck would not start. The key tumbler was stuck. This shut down the entire operation. I called Kev's. Not sure who I spoke to but he explained a quick fix (by phone) and it worked. He could have easily come down, did the quick fix himself and charge me $200+ easily. But no, he just want to help us out. Well now Kev's is our new go-to for our fleet servicing. Honest mechanic's are the best mechanic's. I definitely recommend Kev's.

My family's been going to Kevin for 40 years and his work has always been top notch. I wrecked my car a couple weeks back, and when Kevin came into possession of a Camry that needed to be sold off quick, he let me call dibs. Really saved my butt, and the new car runs like a dream despite being nearly 15 years old.

If I could give 10 stars I would, even more than that... I started getting my inspections and oil changes here 2 years ago.. immediately I loved the shop because it is clean, has a comfortable waiting area, and has classic car memorabilia and an old school phone booth.. I grew up around cars, mostly classic, as it was a hobby of my dad's. Growing up I never had to worry about car work because my dad did all of it.. he has since retired and moved to SC, so finding someone reliable and honest was not easy.. but then I found Kev's. They are always very honest and fair with prices, and very reliable. But what totally blew away was today. I had an emergency with my mom's car yesterday, a Sunday, and brought it to pep boys in Patchogue.. what a nightmare. They sold us a new battery, did the work, and when we picked up the car, the check engine light was on, radio was not working, and car would not lock. My husband immediately brought it back, and they told him there was nothing they could so and that this happens with Hondas. They said we would have to bring it to a Honda dealer. Well, this morning I called Kev's and spoke with Frank who told me to bring the car in and he would stop what he was doing and take a look.. what?!? So I brought the car in on my lunch break, and guess what he did.. HE STOPPED WHAT HE WAS DOING AND TOOK MY CAR RIGHT IN!! He discovered that pep boys put the battery in backwards and they could have ruined the entire computer of the car! Frank corrected the battery and reset the codes and now the car is perfect. He also did not charge me and refused a tip.. this is unbelievable, especially in this industry where I have had quite a few nightmares... I am so grateful to have a shop like this to bring my car to. Excellent job!!!

He quickly found the problem that my old mechanic couldn't find, even after having the car for 3 days! I'll never go back !
