“When we fly into NY, we always stay at La Quinta Ronkoma. We call this our "Home away from home"! Our Butler is always excellent! Chuck deserve more credit ! The park like grounds are well maintained. We always stay on the 6th floor so we can see the city and the ocean! Sitting back and enjoying a cup of french press at night enjoying the views is a perk anywhere! Being minutes from the ocean,You can spot a Whale!
Staff is top notch and well trained. They must be the trainers for the other LaQuinta Hotels worldwide!. They set the Laquinta brand fabulous!!
Local 5 star dining close by.Chuck, our butler went and prepared our dinner.
Broadway is just a limo ride away. Tip: If you want to see a play, Ask Chuck to see what is available!

“My husband and I spent a long weekend here while visiting family nearby on Long Island. Location was very convenient for our particular needs. The hotel was under construction while we were there but they warned us and put us in another section of the hotel. My husband and I are POC (Latina & Middle Eastern), not negating what others experienced, just saying that we never felt discriminated against, quite the opposite actually. The front desk staff even gave us additional points for a slight inconvenience. There’s a Walmart very close and a few food options within walking distance. We’ll be back for sure!

There was plenty of space and the king bed was very comfortable.The staff were very caring and easy to speak with. We even got phone calls to be sure we were not lacking anything.I will surely stay here the next time I visit my friend in the area.”

“For years I had hear about the white looking castle building on cherry grove, The Belvedere Guest House, (men only). So I book for one night only, just to test the waters, well....I believe I should have book for at least three days. The place have a welcome spirit the minute you walk in. A friendly staff await at you (Jason Justin, Miguelito Sunny and rest) thank you guys. The patrons are handsome men of all ages having a good time all day. the place is clean 24 o 7.My favorite spot for my sun bath was the upper deck. I planning to visit again.Nearby activities: Bay view and sunset it amazing, walking distance to beach is only 8 min. and 10 min to a list off shopping store, restaurant, bars and night club.”

“Stayed here for a short stay, bed was very comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the staff was very nice. I tried to take a hot bath because it was SO cold out for me coming from Florida but the drain stopper didn’t work at all. The only thing that was kind of annoying was the wifi. I did the whole login thing and everything and it just did not connect at all. So if you were trying to work from your room it probably won’t work.”

“I was respectfully greeded when I approached to reserve a room. The environment was very calm and clean. The plants that surrounded me as I was conversating with the employee to reserve my room....... were all wonderfully "real" and watered to a healthy perfection. When I opened the door to my room...... I was once again very pleased...... because everything was to the standards and clean. The carpet was vacuumed and clean and the bed was neatly prepped with clean covers (also checked the sheets because why not) and...... once again pleasingly clean with a pleasant fragrance of cleanliness. Thank you. For a truly comfortable, peaceful and affordable stay. I was facing a very challenging presentation the next day and I am actually being honest and thankful for my stay at the MacArthur inn...... I am a hard working mother who has three wonderful children and my job unfortunately requires me to travel and sometimes on my own dime and I genuinely always wish there would be a genuine, honest and clean, affordable stay inn's and this was exactly what I imagine. “Good solid place with nice service and pretty standard everything else. If you are a light sleeper you should bring earplugs. It can get a little noisy from other rooms and the highway that passes by.”

“Well run hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Especially those on the front desk in contrast to what other reviewers have said. For us visiting from the UK nothing has been too much trouble. Breakfast is convenient and great value. Only issue for us is the hotel allows pets so with the recycled air through the AC system even those in pet free rooms can be affected if they have allergies. Also hotel needs to sort out a deal with Disney as 11/50 TV channels are unavailable currently.

Rooms: Rooms are spacious and well equipped with comfortable beds if decor is a bit drab. Nice big screen TVs.”

“Stayed here for a wedding. Had an overall good experience and service was great. Akua made us feel welcome from the start with her friendly and wonderful personality. Room was nice and hot water was uninterrupted. After leaving, I realized I had left a dress in the room. Security, the front desk, and housekeeping all worked together to track down my dress and arrange to have it sent to me. They were all very pleasant through the process and wouldn’t you know it, Akua made the final touches to the process to ensure I’d get my package delivered. Thank you to Akua and all the wonderful staff at Jake’s 58!”
