“I stopped into this t-mobile store to pick up two replacement sim cards for data only lines I had for two devices. After speaking with the manager, Joseph, for several minutes, I decided to switch my six cellular lines, two Apple Watch lines, and one secondary number to t-mobile because I am saving over $300 per month - about a 50% per month savings, even after adding the my new t-mobile account the two data only lines which I previously had been pre-paying through t-mobile. (I had been using prepaid T-Mobile sim cards for those two devices, because T-Mobile was recommended by the device manufacturer.) I had been a Verizon customer since 1999, and I had no intention of switching. However, Joseph asked if he could take a few minutes to explain to me the benefits of T-Mobile, and I told him I was busy but I would give him a few minutes. I literally found it hard to believe that T-Mobile would actually give me more services than Verizon, at a substantially reduced cost. Accordingly, I told Joseph that I would think about it, and went home to check into the various things he had told me, only to find that everything he said was absolutely true! Among other things, and as relevant to my family, t-Mobile has free texting and data in 215 countries around the world, including the countries that we tend to frequent, and for which we paid with Verizon $10 a day per person when traveling internationally. Joseph made switching easy (including the seamless porting of all of our cell phone numbers to our new T-Mobile account). We have been on T-Mobile now for about a week, and the cell service is excellent (at least as good as Verizon), at about half the cost we were paying Verizon. (And, no, our rate is not a promotional rate – this is a standard T-Mobile plan.)”
