Have multiple pairs of loupes with this company, just had frames replaced at a significant fee this past June, they have already snapped in half, 6 weeks of calls/emails/repair requests and nothing. You literally cannot get in touch with anyone.

Customer service has gone down the drain. Purchased my loupes in hygiene school in 2014 and everything was great back. This last year has been the worst. Left multiple messages with the main office just to place an order for a light replacement. After weeks of no call back I contacted our prior rep who no longer works for them and she gave me her managers number. I placed my order over the phone with him in October. It is now December and I have received nothing and to find out my order was never “confirmed.” I can no longer recommend this company.

I have used DFV loupes for nearly 40 years in my dental practice. The customer service was excellent in the early days but has steadily gotten worse over the years. Recently I needed my loupes/frames/Rx updated. I was told it would take around 4 weeks. Six weeks later I finally received the updated loupes but now my previous headlight which is also a DFV product would not fit the new frame. No one had told me this would be the case. I decided that I would just order a new light for the new frames so that I can use my loupes again but it will take another 2 weeks to get a new light. The customer service is unbelievably bad at this company and I would strongly suggest that you look elsewhere for loupes.

I've been getting my surgical loupes and mounted LED lights from DfV since dental school, and I keep coming back for the reliability/quality of the products, amazing customer service/support/warranty, and personal touch. Just recently I whacked my loupe light on a cabinet and broke it, and they repaired it at no cost for me even though I was 1 month out of warranty. Reps are always really nice, and you always talk to a knowledgeable and helpful person when you call. This is a true service-oriented small business in a time where companies like this are few and far between. Highly recommend without reservation!

Charged my card over 400 dollars for a 150 dollar repair! Do not send them you credit card info blindly! Big mistake on my part.

Terrible customer service! I’ve purchased 2 sets of loupes and batteries. My light that I ordered never arrived and I left multiple messages and could not contact anyone regarding my order that I paid for over the phone. Mailboxes were full and no answer. Terrible!

They started out great with informative knowledge about the loupes and other companies, had great features that came along with the purchase, and seemed to be centered over customer service. However, I received barely any contact for months after my purchase. I would ask for updates on the status of my purchase and I would receive short responses that did not provide any information at all. I was offered complimentary "overnight shipping" and did not receive my loupes for two weeks after this. I have a friend who bought from this company at the same time as I did, and she still had glue on her lenses and lopsided arms of the loupes. I was excited to work with this company I just wish they had a more efficient system for the ordereing process.

i have bought about 10 loupes plus lights etc. over the years for me and my staff. the service and the repair quality has fallen off a cliff. This has been going on for a number of years now, but I am done. I will not buy any more products from this company and strongly advise anyone reading this to do the same.

I have been a designs for visions loupes owner for 20 years. Never a complaint about their dental loupes. However their led day lite is quite the opposite. This head lamp system has become an annuity payment for me. It is constantly broken and the custom service to replace the batteries is atrocious. I am pulling the plug on this product!!!

Garbage. I have gone through multiple loupes and batteries in just 2 years of practice due to battery failures and telescope lenses falling out. I have had delayed and missing orders and customer service can be difficult to get a hold of. I will be investing in another brand when my current setup breaks and would not recommend this brand to other practitioners!

I’ve had a great experience with Designs for Vision - Ben Leousis, my loupes representative servicing the Toronto area, has been nothing short of spectacular with his service. He has taken the time to make sure that my loupes are to my liking, and deals with any issues promptly. I’d definitely recommend Designs for Vision, and the services of Ben Leousis, to anyone!

I've been their Loupe and LED DayLite user for many years. The battery pods fail quite often, and I thought I just have bad luck, until I saw other people's feedback here. Now I see the battery issue is widespread, and they aren't fixing it. I have go buy new battery pod now. LOL

I can’t get a hold of anyone at this company! Multiple calls and they never answer. It’s hard to sit by the phone waiting for a return call when we are seeing patients. When you finally get an extension to call someone they don’t pickup. Very frustrating experience when we rely on our loops to work and need to have repairs!

Agree with everyone. Terrible costumer service. Over 2 months with no response or reply. Still did not get my loupes. I was attempting to purchase these surgical loupes for someone who doesn’t live in the US and got in touch after so many months trying with their international representative Katie Kromberg. Finally once she replied to my e-mail and sent me the request form with specifications to fill, I did that and sent it back to her, two months later still no response, despite multiple emails and reminders. Called them over the phone, the ladies were nice but couldnt do much but remind her and then she responds that she never got the email from me (lie), so I reply back to her with the same info and still no response and multiple reminders later. I finally gave up. I got a pair of loupes from another company and will advise everyone including the residency program to avoid purchasing from them. I genuinely foresee them losing alot of business because of this attitude and carelessness and disrespect.
