We bought a dining table with extensions from here-ONLY used the extensions for company. 6 months later the extensions were sagging, and gradually about 1\2" off. Under the table we saw that the skirt was warped, We tightened the screws. but. still was warped. Tom refused to fix the skirt and rudely said we were pushing on it. Horrible experienceIn reply to Tom, that is not true. Tom told me to tighten the screws BEFORE we brought the table in, which a family member who has made beautiful wood furniture did. The screws Tom used were very poor quality. We never approved what Tom did, which was nothing and we told him so. Tom also refused to put brackets in to secure the extensions. Everyone we have talked to has disagreed with Tom, and we are now having someone else fix his poor work.

I brought a bench cushion in to be reupholstered. Myself and Tom (and a female employee) talked and decided the cushion would only be covered on one side as that way there would be no seams shown. I was told they would have enough extra material to create two pillows. After waiting several weeks they called to tell me the cushion was completed. When I picked it up I was told no one ever wrote down anything about pillows being made and that there was not enough material to make extra pillows. The bench cushion was covered on both sides and there are seams showing. I paid the $360, and was slightly confused about the conversation. I knew there was nothing I could do about the bench cushion at this point so I received it and brought it home. Once I was home I thought about the initial conversation and called to talk to him about it. He blatantly told me none of this happened we never had that conversation and all but called me a liar. He also said if any material was left over it would be a small amount, not enough to make a pillow. I didn’t wanna argue with him so I let it go. Then I received a phone call message from him saying that he found the extra material and would ship it to me. When I received the material I realized it was large enough to cover the bench cushion on one side. 30” wide and 66” long. So I paid a large sum for this work and had so much extra material. There is certainly enough material to make two pillows. What a extremely disappointing experience. My advice: get it in writing. I will not be shopping here again or promote the business. Thanks for listening.

Our antique rocker got injured and needed help. Brought it here for a fast diagnosis and repair. No worries. Very attentive and knowledgeable staff. Plus, the store is amazing with the best rustic furniture and home decor this side of the Adirondacks.

Just had a chair redone here. The work was 8 weeks later than the contract promised. When it was picked up, a leg was loose, and the owner told me I would have to pay more to have it fixed. What small business gives a customer a less than perfect item? The icing on the cake was when I decided to just take it home, a spider crawled out of it. Won’t be returning.

Had a chair redone there. The staff was nice, but the job was done 8 weeks later than my contract promised. Then when I picked it up, one of the legs was loose and I was told if I wanted that fixed I'd have to pay more to have it repaired. What honest business sends a customer home with a less than perfect item? I didn't bother. The icing on the cake was when it was being loaded into my vehicle a spider crawled out of it. Won't be returning.
