Do not ship from here. I spent money on 2-3 day delivery, and still nothing. As per the tracking, it shows it hasn’t even left Blauvelt. (it has been a week) When asking the Postmaster (several times now) I’m given NO answers as to where it is or what is happening. No help whatsoever and awful service.

Fred was amazing with my newborn baby’s passport! He was so patient and smooth with the process. I recommend anyone drive to this location for his service!

On 06/03/2023 me and a few more people had an appointment for passport in this place and FRED just told us that he don’t know what we’re going to do but he ain’t doing no passport application. That’s unprofessional and disrespectful to play with peoples time like that. If you’re not doing no passport appointment you guys supposed to let people know about it not just act rude and disrespectful towards people who are there for passport application

Kudos to the staff at Blauvelt USPS, The best ever experience that can ever have at a post office. When it comes to customer service they are the best of the best. I had gone there for passport service and was taken care quickly and most importantly with a smiling face. Whether it's general needs or passport they take care of everyone.Fred is the person who helped with the passport application and was very friendly and efficient. I have seen other reviews about Fred and his service and can understand why he is been hailed by lot of people. I hope such wonderful people serving the community are being rewarded.Team USPS in Blauvelt ,Please keep up the good work.

There are several USPS locations within a convenient distance from my home but we always use the Blauvelt location because the personnel is so pleasant. We especially love when Fred is inside because he works so quickly and efficiently and never makes us wait. Miguel, the mail carrier that delivers to our house, is courteous, reliable, polite and respectful. My family and our dogs love him! We are so thankful for his smile and positive attitude and look forward to seeing him.

Been living in Blauvelt for 46 years and never had any issue with this post office till today. As stated on another review the current guy is passive aggressive and has some real internal issues going on. I showed up at 10:53 to have my passport done (passports are allowed up to 11) and by the time it was my turn it was 11:05 and he wouldn't do them (They were also already filled out too). He refused to take them and then after telling him we were here well before 11 he asked us to leave. I didn't leave and he called the police. I never raised my voice, cursed, or anything. I also had my 10 and 2 year old with me. The man also refused to give his name to the police which is comical because he was the one that called them. This was not my first time with Mr. passive aggressive guy either, he made a few nice showings before this, but this one took the cake. He showed not be working with people and I will be contacting his supervisor on Monday to let him know what happened. He should also learn the law...You can't kick a person out of a governmental building for "trespassing" I have as much right to be in there as he does. This clown needs to go and never worn with people again.

Drove here to get our passport appointment since NYC is crazy and hard to get. What a find. Sweet, caring, super helpful employees. They have copies, photos, everything on site. Definitely recommend and it’s under an hour from Manhattan!

Terrible mail man!!! The mail man is normally nice but not today the mail man sprayed my dog in the EYES with PEPPER-SPRAY!! I have no idea why he even had pepper-spray. What happened was I was getting the mail as usual and the door was slightly open so my 10 yr old pit bull ran out and just went to smell the mailman but the mailman got scared and sprayed her with pepper-spray in the eyes even tho we had tried to tell him many times she's nice and try to introduce him to her he was still scared. My dog could not open her eyes at all we had to wash her eyes out. Would NOT recommend this post office!!!

Drove from the bronx for passports due to needing them fast. All the post offices in the city, the appointments are all full for months out. This place had next day appointments.Lovely man named Fred was very helpful and great attitude! Quick service! Deff will come back!

I just spoke to Blauvelt, NY's postmaster this morning, 6/3/2021, to ask about a package transferred by a Chinese logistics firm to Blauvelt rather than Kingston, NY as my address clearly stated. The logistic company's tracking tells me it was delivered to the Blauvelt, NY Post Office at 1:00 PM on 6/1 for final delivery, and that it was left at someone's front door. But I only have the JS Express tracking number. The postmaster was downright nasty, blaming me, in essence, for not having a proper USPS tracking number. After going 'round this for several minutes, we both got angry and I hung-up. Said postmaster is *not* doing his job.
