I’ve called every day for over a week to see Dr Winikoff and was finally told they could “squeeze” me in the following week. I did everything they asked, forwarded all the records from my current vet and VEG, I included an extremely detailed email expressing my dogs condition and my concern for the pain she’s in and not even a call back. The staff is kind, but Dr Winikoff really disappointed me.

Dr. Winikoff took action and (I truly) believe saved my cat's life when another vet was taking a more "wait and see" approach. I trust her implicitly and I'm grateful to her and her team!

Brought my 13-year-old lab mix to Dr. Winikoff she was very thorough and Professional and a pleasure to talk with it was a wonderful experience looking forward to see what the outcome will be based on my initial appointment

Back in 2/1/2021 I took my pooch there for an second opinion for holistic liver cancer options and treatments. I was given supplements, advice etc. I had no isses with them at all. I agreed to pay for a separate test for detecting a urinary tract infection was at a cost of 156$. This test turned out to be not needed a few days later after consulting with Dr Winikoff. Unfortunately they would not credit my card they said i can use that money when I want it would stay on my account. Last week my dog died and still they refused to credit back the 156$ saying that I can use the money in the future for another pet. I called the credit card company for action. Why would a local business put me through more stress over this amount of money? Do they really think that I will come back? I will stick with VCA Old Tappan Veterinary Hospital.

The staff and Dr Winikoff were really super. So why the 3 stars you may ask? There was a urine test that was paid for that turned out to be not needed which was $150.00. I politely asked for a refund to my CCard but they said that is not their policy and they would allow a future credit for services etc. I went there for a send opinion for my dogs liver cancer (possible supplements advice etc). I may or may not use the funds. I was not happy about that policy. It is a lot of money

The doctor took the time to ask and answer every question. Of course this took time, which meant more money but I feel it's worth it.

Dr.Winikoff is skilled and professional in all her interactions with my companion animal Charlie a golden retriever.She has cared for him since he was a puppy. He is almost a year old and doing well.Very satisfied with his care.

My dog Davey had an extremely aggressive squamous cell carcinoma in his mouth. I had taken him to three other doctors—including an oncologist at Oradell Animal Hospital—and after Oradell sold me an extremely expensive surgery that did nothing, I went to Rockland Hollistic Vet. for an alternative. I should have come here first!! Dr. Sarah W. (whose name I can’t spell) was the only doctor who was able to help me in any meaningful way. She helped slow the tumors growth and the herbs she prescribed significantly helped reduce the bleeding, and although we were not able to save Davey, the doctor was there every step of the way, counseling me on what was in the best interest of the dog (even when it wasn’t what I was hoping to hear).

Since I retired I am in the bushiness of dog and cat rescue. I transport and work for mutable Humane societies . I have not found anyone the cares for my pets better than RHVC. I travel from Mahwah to have them taken care of by Dr. Winikoff and her staff. Recommended them many times and have been thanked for my recommendation. Great care at reasonable rates.
