I can only speak on the DPT program, but this is not a weekend program as they advertise. You will be on campus on weekdays and they will even send you to their own personal practices off campus as an assignment on the days you should be off. The director openly claims to be "the first responder to 9/11" and consistently inappropriately touches female students when "practicing techniques". I heard one professor openly speak to my class about the interview point system for new students, and lets just say grades, credentials, and experience are not what they are looking for. Another professor has been found guilty of insurance fraud, yet he teaches about insurance. Most of these professors worked together at Touro before going to Dominican, so they are all friends and cover for each other when they touch students inappropriately, target students of certain ethnicities, are late to class, or even have teaching assistants who graduated less than a year ago teaching core classes. Practical's are completely "depends who your proctor is", you may be graded by someone who wants you to already be an expert and get a failing mark, or get graded by a teaching assistant who doesn't even know what the practical is on and pass you for doing nothing, there is zero consistency. Students do not report on these issues due to the rate at which they are dismissed (almost half my class was dismissed, 16/30 remain). Don't choose this program because it's a better price, you certainly will get the quality you paid for.

My daughter received her bachelors and stayed for her Masters. The dealings I had with them were positive too. If you're looking for a wild, party college this is not that. But, if you want small classes, personalized attention and assistance and good friends...this would be your place. The grounds, facilities, and dorms are nice. Plus, NYC is so close.

Although i love the experience I had attending this school. Dominican College isn't the college you would want to attend if you have personal issues. I have 3 stillbirths one while I had to withdraw from classes to get my mind right. I only attending for about 2 weeks and they held me accountable for all the payments and took advantage of that fact. I was lied to about graduating in 2021, but now I have to wait another year and continue to waste money on a school that won't help. My mother is single and list her job due to Covid and they weren't at all compassionate more or less telling us to figure it out. Top it off i finished spring 2021 with great grades while dealing with the loss of my second daughter who unfortunately couldn't make it. When I asked for a week to grieve my professors held that against me. Really think about this school. They think they are Yale and will overcharge you for absolutely everything. I don't know how I owe almost 8 grand of tuition when I've been remote learning for the past year and half.

This school has been holding onto my official transcript for an alleged registration fee, accusing me of signing up for classes and cancelling three years back. I explained to them that I did not register or try to register they refused to waive the $315 registration fee. They keep mentioning the fee is non-refundable, but non refundable means if you pay, you are not able to get your money back. Here i am, never paid this fee , & I'm being forced to pay or my transcript will not be released I am beyond disgusted with this school. Not to mention they have a cemetary on campus. Do not go here !!!

This school is what you make of it. It is a typical small Div. II school meaning the class sizes are small and the facilities aren't the best, but the people make it. The biggest objective factor for coming here is it'a price. Although total cost of attendance is about 40k a year, 95% of applicants (and 99% of attendees) get either some money for academics, athletics, financial aid, or more than one of those areas. The small class size allows teachers to really get to know their students and establish a relationship with individual students. The bonds i have with my teachers personally motivates me to do better in an class because i know they expect my best and I do not want to let them down. Another HUGE sell point of this school is hive college credits to AP students who scored a 3+ on any AP Test and count many AP exams as 6 credits instead of 3 (6 credits if the AP class you were in ran an entire school year, 3 if only for one semester). The religion aspect of the school is evident, but by no means is shoved down your throat. The Dominican Sisters are the nicest people I've ever met and help me whenever I go to the free tutoring center on campus. Religion courses are not mandatory, but they count as general education history requirements and tend to be easier than most histories. Cafeteria is a B+.... it's small so it tends to get boring after a while but that's the same with all cafeterias. Hours for cafeteria aren't good on weekends. The Career Development Office is great and helps students build their resumes, cover letters, practice mock interviews, network, and get jobs/internships whether they be over break of during the school year depending on a students desire (All included in tuition!!). This school is what you make of it. I love it, and for the price after the aid I received, you can't beat it. Most people who dislike this school are people who either skip a bunch of classes and have POOR GPAs because of it, or people who expect a Div. I party school and are surprised tp find out our student population is about 2,500 students.

This college is absolutely terrible, do not waste 41k to come too a college like this, its nothing but a waste of money and time, the Faculty is terrible, the dorms are terrible, there are bugs in the rooms and the people who run the buildings do not care. its simply a horrible D2 school and i highly urge you to not come here, its like being in HS all over again. There is no turf here, and the weight room is very small, but it cost 41k to come here, which is a lot of money for a school. you have class in a preschool... literally. and all they ever do is ask you for more and more money. The faculty is very rude, and disrespectful. They do not care about your education they only care about your money so they can stuff their pockets
