“I wouldn't have normally shopped here as it is a bit out of my way and there are multiple other liquor stores that I've frequented closer to home. Recently however while attending wine club at Oliver's we were afforded the opportunity to purchase a few of the wines we tasted from Gates Circle Liquor at a special price. I decided to pick up the remaining bottles of wine we needed for the holidays here. I'm quite happy that I did. I was quite surprised at how reasonable their prices were. I purchased a few bottles of wine I buy regularly and found them to be cheaper here. I found them to have a very good selection that was conveniently organized. I wasn't familiar with their location and was happy to find they had off street parking. If they are not close to you and you are making a substantial purchase it might be worth going out of your way or plan your purchase around your next trip into the city. I'll definitely be back.”
“I don't drink, but I went to get a growler with beer for a friend. The guy working knew nothing about the different types of beer to help me decide. So I just had to guess. Luckily I did a good job at it...lol. Anyway, someone should know what the different taps to help folks out!”

“Key Liquor Store, on Clinton and Rossler is a perfect place. Friendly and accommodating staff. They have a great variety of selections at affordable prices. If your looking for a Mom and Pop type vibe while you shop for your beverage of choice this is it! Also located in the plaza is Value Hardware, Family Dollar, Save a Lot, and to top it McDonald's and a Pizza Place, never tried it but heard good things.”
“What a rare find with this liquor store. We were in town from Iowa and we always look for obscure liquor stores to stop at. Cool place, love how they have everything set up. Great selection and super sweet gal that we talked to for quite awhile. Pricing is good for the most part - some of their higher end whiskeys were a little high but worth the stop for sure!!”
“This is one of the few liquor wine stores that has an Arctic freezer that you put your bottle of wine into and it makes it ice cold after a couple minutes I wish more wine places had that”

“Great prices and selection for the most part. I asked if they had a certain wine and the gentleman said the brand doesn’t carry it I said yes they do I got it at premiere before and he assured me they didn’t have one. I said maybe I’m thinking of something else. I decided to get something else. He proceeded to go to his computer and look up their website and tell me that he just looked at their website and they actually don’t carry one. I said that’s OK. I made a different selection then this woman who is sitting at the computer decided to come over to me while I was cashing out making a huge deal that she looked at the website with him and they don’t carry what I was looking for. I told her I heard the guy the first time.”
“Prices can be a little high but you will probably find what you are looking for. It's Wegmans but a liquor store. Similar vibe and quality of customer service from general staff. Loss Prevention can be overbearing, even more so than in the grocery store.”

“The selection is great. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful,and the only problem I have is with other customers demanding to be seen first even when going to a checkout that is not staffed and marked as closed. A lot of people are entitled in this world, and they make everything else more difficult for the people who are following the rules.
I commend the staff for dealing with these difficult customers, and I would recommend going here if you have a good head on your shoulders.

“The new owners are finding their way with pricing. The everyday stuff is nicely priced. The allocated items can be 4 times as much as other stores. An item was incorrectly priced on the shelf the other day. He had the Maker's Mark 46 Cask Strength labeled as just 46 and not Cask Strength. It was marked as $42.99 and was actually $59.99, so he refunded me $11. I was satisfied with that because the bottle typically goes for $60-$65. I also bought a bottle of Elijah Craig Toasted for $45.99. Previously I've seen it priced at $59.99 and $54.99 at other stores. My wife and I had a brief conversation as we were checking out. Deb ended up loving the Toasted and I went back to buy another bottle of it the next day. He recalled me and wished me well on our trip to Kentucky (came up in conversation the day before). In conclusion, everyday bottles are decently priced and the owner is friendly.”
