There's an older lady that goes there that walks severely hunched over. I witnessed the lady at the front desk mock her by walking hunched over in front of the lady at the back desk. Absolutely appalling behavior!

I was recommended to them through a friend who had tried many other physical therapists. She's found that they were professional, kind, and knowledgeable. She was spot on! I worked with Matt who knew exactly what to do to ease my pain which resulted from back surgery. The facility is also very clean. I would recommend Southern Tier Physical Therapy to meet your needs! *from 1 star to 4 stars after they gave me back the money they doubled charges.It pains me to say this because the therapists there helped me immensely. But, please check if you've been charged twice!!! When we went through our medical bills, we found that after our insurance company paid for all the sessions, STPT still sent us the bill and made us pay again. After we reminded STPT that our insurance company already paid with "health fund", they immediately told us that their system wouldn't automatically link that kind of payment to the patient and there seemed to be nothing they could do to prevent this from happening again. Because of the immediate response, we knew that this "system flaw" must have been there for quite a while. Since their system doesn't make an effort linking the insurance payment to the patient, we suggest all patients who have insurance coverage to double check your billing records to see if you've been double charged as well.BTW, the reason that I decided to make a public post is because after STPT agreed to refund us at the beginning of Aug, a month later, we still haven't received the refund.

I had a wonderful experience at Southern Tier Physical Therapy of Binghamton! The staff is extremely friendly, timely, flexible and always kept the facilities clean. The physical therapists are unbelievably knowledgable and resourceful. They always knew what was best for my shoulder and were great conversationalists in the process. Thank you Colleen, Matt and the rest of the staff at STPT for making this experience a pleasant one!
