There are many reasons not to hire this company based on my experience. There are some reasons to give them a second chance. Here's what happened: Caleb's receptionist was the one who agreed to and wrote up the contract for a deck replacement. I believe Caleb himself did not have any say in it (he fired her in the middle of my project). However, if he doesn't know how to build decks, he should have admitted to it, and then backed out. I would have been understanding. Instead, he and his crew showed up no earlier than 12 noon, did not communicate the days they would not be there, and a job that should have taken 2 weeks max took 7. One evening I had to kick him out at 10 past 10 at night. The deck is not built correctly, it looks amateur at best. I have been contemplating taking legal action because it actually is a safety issue. Don't hire Planet Property for decks. I hear they do good work with roofs, though, but I don't trust him anymore.

WARNING. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Unprofessional, not on time, didn’t show up, lied about things, didn’t consult about issues, left a mess, rude and unresponsive, project was never actually finished, probably caused more damage than good. Absolutely can’t ever recommend Caleb or this company. Go elsewhere for your work.Services: Remodelling

I was very pleased with the work done by Caleb and Planet Property Constructions. For three years I had tried to hire a contractor to complete installation of a simple railing on my porch. Other contractors either did not show up or did not come back. Caleb was working nearby and I asked him to take a look - he measured up the job, gave me a (fairly priced) estimate and completed the work in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him.

Many, many kudos to Caleb Gibson and Planet Property for amazing work removing our aging and collapsing chimney. He responded to our request on this page, responded quickly, quoted us a very reasonable price, and was so personable and professional throughout the whole process. Highly recommend for general contracting.

Caleb and his team at Planet Property did a fantastic job with some updates and remodeling in our home. They were meticulous in their work, and left our home “better than it was before they came” as Caleb said they would. They left the workspace clean at the end of each day and were respectful of our home. They were careful with protecting areas in which they were working. Caleb was very responsive to any changes we requested during the project, and he was easy to communicate with. The whole team was polite and friendly, and did not feel intrusive in our house. We are very pleased with the end results, which included painting 3 rooms, replacing a ceiling fan, replacing ceiling tiles, and installing a door. I hope to hire them for future projects and would highly recommend them!Services: Remodelling
