I have taken both my husbanda truck and my van to Big E to be worked on along with inspections. Tim has always been fabulous to us with our budget, make sure he does top priority and lets us know what else needs to be and the recommendation of the order to be done it. He always trys to give a good price as well. The guys that work along side him explain everything that was done or needs to be done in simple terms since I'm not a car person so that I can understand what they mean. I would highly recommend for anyone to go. Thank you for all your work, efforts, and support.Mills family

I recommend Big E to my mom to get tires because I have heard great things about them. I would give them -5 if possible. The advisor was very rude to her and she had him clarify the price while making the appointment and then when going in for the appointment the price was different. She asked him to print the pricing and on there it has notes that said " customer has a lease vehicle that she is turning in soon and getting state inspection elsewhere, look for items to cause vehicle to fail inspection so we can make money ." Extremely unprofessional and we will never give them a chance again and will make sure everyone else is aware as well.

We have taken our cars here for several years, starting when they were still Kost. When Big E bought them things changed. I had a tire sensor going off. We brought it in for repair. They said they fixed it. The sensor went off again. Brought it back, they said something else must have been the issue. Charged us to fix the issue. Well, that was not the problem either. After three attempts at repair we gave up. But that's not the worst of it. My car was due for an inspection. My husband took the car up there. They took our current inspection sticker off, even though it was not expired yet. Then they informed him that the car needed a power steering hose and said we also had a transmission hose leak. Then he said we needed a full rear break job because the pads were delaminating slightly. They failed the car and said those repairs would have to be done. The car never showed any signs of a leak anywhere. This was the weirdest bunch of stuff. I thought to myself that the car wasn't leaking when we brought it in, but I was nervous it would after he left. They said the repairs would be $1100. He took it to another shop the next day to get a second opinion. That shop said there was nothing wrong with the hoses, or brakes. It passed inspection easily. That is the last straw. I would never choose to go back. I prefer to leave positive reviews and almost never leave a negative review, but in this case I did because they are ripping people off and it's not right.

Years ago, I was what would be thought of as a loyal Big E customer; they were my go-to shop.Not anymore.For whatever reason, they've stopped looking out for their customers with regard not only to what they charge for services, but they've started being dishonest about what is and isn't legally or functionally necessary vehicles to pass inspection. DO NOT take your vehicle there and expeit to pass inspection unless it's pretty new... the items that they CLAIM cause vehicles to fail inspection are nothing more than thinly-veiled threats to get you to fork over exorbitant money for legally acceptable situations that are relatively easy to fix anyway. They're real quick to take your existing inspection sticker off the SECOND they pull your vehicle into the bay... before they let you know whatever "problem" they say that you have will result in a failing inspection. Whether this unfortunate change is due to management/ownership-dictated imperatives or just a general decline in the overall integrity of the company makes no difference to me at all. I've been lied to one time too many at this point. They will never see me at their establishments again.

i would never go back took truck there 1st visit i gave them a box of lug nuts told them when doing tires any lug nuts worn to replace left box on center console with 24 nuts at 4.78 ea when went to pick up box was gone when asked they used 3 but kept the rest i had to ask for them back i also told them i wanted 4 new rubber valve stems installed they did not when i went out to truck is when i found out they put the wrong tires on when went back in to tell them they said we cant change today drop back tomorrow so trip 2 i drop off tell them make sure you do valve stems this time so i go to pick up and they charge me tire tax again as they now tell me the wrong tires they put on are used now as they told me to drive home and come back tomorrow not my fault!! so i pay and go to leave i still have old valve stems !!! they now say bring back another time so drove the truck now the tires are my winter ones and bought from them with life time rotate and balance so getting them ready for this year i call as say i want to bring and have the valve stems and balance done after a little dickering back and forth about wanting to charge me for balancing them and like the 3rd time i reminded him i bought with life time balance and rotate he finally agreed to do it but it was drop off we are a couple weeks out will see if we can get to it some time never mind rob i took some other place and will pay to have it done correct thank you !! bill c

I took a tire to try and get it balanced and was told my tire was bad not a big deal but they put the tire back on didn't tighten my lug nuts back they were hand loose thank God I had my own torque wrench in my car and when I went back in to ask them what they would hav done if my tire fell off on the highway I got a response of guess u will get a new car what kinda business do u run where you let ur employees talk yo people like that

My daughter took her car here yesterday for an inspection (10/21/23). It failed, she was extremely upset after being told if she keeps driving this car she'll die! Strange enough her friend took her car there a couple months ago and was told the same thing?! Fortunately in this case there's not much I can't fix so I get handed the paperwork of why it failed I pull it in the garage and start to look it over. I rebuilt a good portion of this vehicle a year ago when she bought it. Item #1 right side mirror, it's there but has a crack, still functional. #2 ebrake cable cut, no the left side broke and not a big deal it's an automatic no one uses the ebrake that's a cash grab. #3 K frame mount torn from sub body, yes this car is rusty it an 06 but I can find no signs of separation. #4 power steering leaking and needs new rack and pinion. This car has a brand new power steering pump and rack and pinion it's not leaking it has old residual fluid from when it was changed. Also told her the power steering fluid was leaking into the inner tie rod end boot. No it's full of fluid because that's how that hydraulic system works! And so what if a hanger on her muffle rusted off and has STAINLESS STEEL wire holding it in place that wire will outlast the car and hopefully this business!! Reading other reviews it seems these guys see a woman coming and it's all $$$$! You should absolutely be ashamed of yourself! And the fact that you claimed it failed emissions because of an egr valve yet there are no I repeat NO CODES!! You're trash and I hope you go out of business!!Update: took to a different garage and explained what happened they took a look at the issues that were claimed and they couldn't find the issue with the frame!! How many people have these guys ripped off that just didn't know they couldn't be trusted

The gentleman here are A+. I called as soon as they opened the other day when my tire went flat on my way home from working all night. I spoke to Nick who was great! They got me right in, assessed the tire, & were able to fix the tire instead of trying to sell me new tires which is what I expected I run into. I also overheard them giving other customers detailed info about their vehicles. It was refreshing to see.They were so incredibly helpful with everything & got me back on my home after a very long night at work!! I recommend them to anyone who is looking for upfront & honest information about what's wrong with your vehicle.

Awful customer service. Had a few good experiences in the past. Place has gone downhill. The guy with the buzz cut behind the counter lied to me about what was needed. Will never go back.

These guys are phenomenal. I brought in my truck w custom rims and tires to be mounted the staff was very courteous and professional. The job was completed in a timely manner and my truck has never driven smoother. Special thanks to Austin he knows what he’s doing

They really helped me out when I noticed a tire losing air as I was traveling south on I-81. I googled tire shops in Binghamton and I called them up. They took me right in, patched the leak in the tire and I was back on the road to Philly in 30 minutes !! What great friendly service !! They are fabulous !!

I have to say after living here for 5 yrs, we finally found a legit and thorough mechanic to work on our vehicles! Tim is absolutely amazing and always goes above and beyond to make sure the job is done. We have had other local mechanics break things, put used parts in new behickes, not honor warranty and even total a 5 yr old Cadillac on us. If anyone in this entire vicinity should and can be trusted, it is Tim at this location!
