We went into Ellis Brothers Furniture only to look at their furniture. Before we even walked into the store, we were greeted by one of the owners, and our wonderful adventure began! Richard listened to what we wanted, as well as what we didn't want. Only then did he take us around their beautiful store, and showed us gorgeous furniture. He spoke to us, not at us. He answered all of our questions, then let us browse and discuss our choices on our own. There wasn't any pressure to purchase.Most impressive, he didn't speak ill of any of the competitors. We enjoyed the positive atmosphere at the store so much, that we didn't look else where for what we were looking for. We purchased from Richard, at Ellis Brothers, and haven't had a moment of remorse-we love our furniture!

Ellis Brothers was a great find! After contacting every carpet store in the Syracuse and surrounding area, looking for higher end Fabrica carpeting, I searched the internet hoping to find a dealer near me. Ellis Brothers Furniture in Binghamton was the closest. I called and spoke to Tom Ellis who confirmed that they did carry the high-end carpeting I was seeking. I drove out to Binghamton, met Tom, and can't say enough about the customer service Tom provided. Tom went out of his way to make sure I was given a very competitive, affordable price, set-up delivery to my carpet installer, and provided me status updates on delivery times. Tom helped me pick out another Fabrica carpet for our historic home and this was delivered as well. My experience at Ellis Brothers Furniture brought me back to a time when businesses treated their customers like family. I sure felt this each time I spoke to Tom or his staff. Tom went out of his way from the moment he answered my first call through the time the carpet was installed at my home. I will surely be purchasing again from Ellis Brothers. Location is easy to find, parking lot is easier to find near building. The respect, service, honesty, selection, and value are surely the reason they have been in business since 1900.

Fantastic customer service and selection of furniture. The staff wasn’t too pushy and seemed genuinely grateful to have my business. They will definitely be getting my business again.

Stopped in to browse for a couch and accent chairs, the staff were very friendly and helpful! The furniture is unique from your big-box stores and definitely worth it!

BUY FURNITURE HERE! 10/10!(1) AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I'm a millennial who has exclusively shopped at West Elm / Pottery Barn / etc. I now see the errors of my way!I worked closely with Barb who helped me pick out pieces for bedroom / living room / remote office. I gave her dimensions, my thoughts/preferences, and WOW --she delivered. Everything fit beautifully. She went above and beyond in making recommendations for existing configurations/furniture - and in doing so, she has breathed fresh life into my furniture. (I had family complimenting pieces that I have had for YEARS, but thanks to Barb's genius touch, they looked brand new in their new spaces). I also hemmed and hawed regarding different rugs / pieces, and Barb patiently and enthusiastically worked with me until I found *the* perfect match for me. THIS is the personal touch you will NEVER get from a big box retailer.The delivery / installation crew were absolute professionals. They carefully put together the furniture and meticulously cleaned as they went. They had a great positive attitude despite moving heavy pieces of furniture on a rather warm/humid day.(2) SUPPORT FAMILY/LOCAL BUSINESSES. Importantly, Ellis Brothers is a local family business. It is clear they take great pride in their work and business. We are so fortunate!(3) GREAT QUALITY PIECES. We purchased a wide range / colors / style of pieces - (e.g., book shelves, media consoles, beds, night stands). They are all soooo beautiful and were made to last a lifetime. I'm so excited by the prospect of having investment pieces that will grow with me and my family.

Had planned on stopping in to furnish my new apartment today after taking my boyfriends daughter to her appointment across the street. Came out to warning tow stickers plastered all over my car instead. When I went in to talk to someone about it the salesmen jumped up promptly to kiss my ass ...! and turned into a complete dick when I pointed out that it was stuck to the car instead of placed under the wiper. He started getting an attitude and telling me good take my money elsewhere and continued to be argumentative instead of helpful. I really wish I got your name! Not really the welcome to Bing I was hoping for but if you don't want to drop money and be treated like shit by fake salesmen I wouldn't even approach this place. Definitely disappointed.

We had a wonderful experience with Ellis Brothers! From the moment we entered the store we received a warm welcome and white glove service! Chuck Ellis went above and beyond to ensure we purchased the perfect sofa for our home. He was very personable and paid close attention to every detail with the type of sofa we were looking for. Chuck even came out to our house the same day of our initial visit to determine if the sofa we liked would work in our space. He also offered to come back the day of the delivery to arrange all of the furniture. That has not been my experience with customer service through the years. I have been to several furniture stores in which sales representatives have been pushy. However, that was not the case with Chuck. He encouraged us to take our time. I came back to the store a few days later and looked through all of the inventory again and came back to the original sofa my husband and I chose. The day the sofa was delivered, Chuck came over to help arrange all of the furniture for a beautiful functional cohesive look. The delivery guys were wonderful and very careful with all of our furniture. Thank you! Also, Chuck helped me pick out beautiful fabric for the throw pillows. He is a very patient man. Lol Now, I have no no motivation to get up off the new sofa because it is so darn comfortable! Most importantly this is a quality made sofa that is going to last a very long time. Not like some of these chain stores. Overall, we had a great experience and plan on enjoying our sofa for years to come.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Had to wait around all day and every employee had a horrible attitude and constant swearing with other customers around. Would never recommend ever coming to this place

Such a wonderful store. The staff is without equal. As soon as my wife and I walked in they greeted us like family. We were given personal service by the staff, who were willing to answer any questions and give whatever help we needed. I've never had such a nice experience in a furniture store. I couldn't recommend the Ellis Bros more. I especially recommend the carpets, such wonderful detail and quality.
