12 W Market St, Corning“I wandered into the West End Gallery while walking through town on a visit and I was immediately blown away. The gallery was full of a vast variety of different artists and mediums with plenty to look at at every turn. The atmosphere was warm and inviting (which isn’t always typical of galleries) and the staff, Jesse and Lin were very welcoming and wonderfully personable. Even if you are only looking, this place is absolutely worth a stop. It’s also family owned and operated which is a huge plus in my book. Thank you again for the warm welcome ladies! You truly made my experience in the town one to remember. “Enjoy the rest of your adventure” will definitely stick with me.”
“Janice was very friendly and easy to talk to. Unfortunately because of how the food prices are (crazy high and unpredictable as we all know), she was not able to give us a cost estimate now at this far out of a date, (almost a year away), which is totally understandable even though disappointing for us trying to get a budget idea to know if it is even possible for us to have our dream event. There are large round tables in the room which always look better than the rectangle ones. I do not know if they have the rectangle tables if that is what you need because I didn't think to ask because we like the round ones and hopefully they will work for our event! The linens and the cutlery, plates and glasses and such are included in the package which it just what we wanted because it makes everything so much easier! They also serve homemade food that is always a big plus and we have great recommendations that the food is great and that is always a VERY important factor in making a decision for an event and venue!!I will try to (remember) to update this review if we are able to go forward with our dream 50th wedding anniversary! So we would definitely recommend this venue!”

198 Colonial Dr, Horseheads“I just got back from a two night stay at Candlewood Suites. The room was spacious and clean and I loved that it had a full kitchen (refrigerator/freezer, two burner stove, dishwasher, and microwave). The real plus to this place was the staff. Everyone was so nice especially Ashley and Derek.
The first night I got there I immediately turned on the tv as I unpacked. The tv wasn't working and nothing I did would fix it. Ashley was able to fix it and as someone who needs the tv on to fall asleep (it helps with my anxiety) this was a big deal to me and Ashley was so kind and helpful. The next morning I just had a few questions about the hotel and Derek was also very kind and helpful. As I was waiting for my Uber today Derek's interactions with other guests were completely pleasant and professional.
The other things that were nice about the hotel was that Outback was right across the parking lot, so at least there was a food option nearby that you didn't need to get to by driving. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. I've stayed at a lot of hotels over the years from budget hotels to higher end hotels and all of them have water pressure in the shower like you're being rained on. It would take forever to take a shower because the water pressure was so light that it added at least ten minutes to your shower. At Candlewood Suites, the water pressure was just like my shower home and I was able to take a normal length shower. I definitely enjoyed my short stay there and would definitely stay there again if I am ever back in the area.
Rooms: Good size and clean.”

9775 Victory Hwy, Painted Post“We stayed here for the Wine Glass Marathon. Rooms were very clean and newly upgraded. We really enjoyed the breakfast.
Brooklyn who was working breakfast was very helpful with her suggestions of where to eat around town.
Hotel was great for the race, the only thing to note is it's on the race course, so once we left in the morning we weren't sure if we could get back before the end of the race, but that wasn't an issue for us.”
“Not a bad place to see a show.We really had no problems with parking, prices, facilities seemed clean enough, and sound was good. The ONLY complaints are:reserved seats are the flimsiest patio chairs anyone can possibly buy,I mean if you’re buying patio chairs at least buy some that I’m not afraid to sit on.The other complaint is cover up the power wires running the the middle of the reserved area!Countless people tripped over the wires that aren’t marked or lit up in the middle of a dark walkway.Other than that I would go back.”
