Recently had a young family member (16) attend Captain Werner's class on boating safety. He thoroughly enjoyed it and appreciated the time the Captain took after class to go over maps and keys. Would recommend this safety course to everyone and in fact plan on taking it myself!

I recently (8/8 & 8/9/23) completed the course to obtain my NY State certification for boat and pwc.The instructor Capt. Rich, I felt was thorough in going over every section of the booklet and explaining everything to guide you so you can pass the test at the end. He would also continually ask if anyone had any questions. The videos along with his technique in instructing is worth every penny for the course. If you follow his instructions,and are attentive. Reading the book and doing the sample test at the end of each section there is no reason not to pass.

Great class! The class was extremely informative and provides you with the knowledge necessary to safely operate a boat. The instructor, Captain Werner, was great and made it a fun experience.

My nephew (11) and I took this class with captain Rich. At the very beginning it was announced there would be a test. My nephew has test anxiety and I apparently didn’t do my research. Captain Rich assured me it would be fine and he seemed to have a real understanding of my worry.We spent a solid 8+ hours listening and learning about boating and PWC safety (an extremely long time for an 11 year old, whether or not he has test anxiety). The class covered everything and really brought home the idea that, when boating, if you put safety first and make smart choices, you can minimize your risk and enjoy the water for the rest of your life. Five stars here for quality, content, thoroughness and delivery by the instructor.Then it was test time.The class was thorough and kept my nephews interest all day. He did need a few test questions explained to him, but he walked out of that room with a 90 and a huge smile and my day was made. One hundred stars here.My only criticism is the states out-dated COVID restrictions really hinder the instructors ability to explain certain things. However, since this is a criticism of the state and not the company or the instructor, 5 stars.

my husband and father in law took the in person class they both enjoyed the instructor (matt) had a issue printing my father in laws certification but Richard guided me through very easily very pleased with this company
