Made an appointment to buy a key and have it programmed. Waited 1 and a half hours for them to come out and tell me the Tech screwed up making the key and they would have to order another key. Waited 2 weeks now, still no call. I called a mobile locksmith service who came to the house, made the key, programmed it, all in 15 minutes and it was cheaper than the $300 Honda wanted. Update! 2 years later still no call from them….

i bought my honda civic from honda city, always serviced car there ...but post-covid the COST of car servicing has really skyrocketed..i started paying 1500 dollars per car service here...first time the service guy said ..may be this time it is high cost...i accepted his/ her alibi...but NO ...every time i go there ...they make 1500 dollar bill these days. Today was last straw for me.....just to change starter ...they charged 1000 dollars...out of that 550 dollars was service fees and 400 dollars was the part price. REALLY? 550 dollars for 1 and half hour of work? i hear on internet that cost of car servicing have skyrocketed...but are they really altered to such extent... this is bad man!!!

Brought my vehicle in to get my tire replaced. My service advisor Theresa was wonderful, really friendly and knew what she was talking about. She got me in and out within an hour! I always come to this location and I live in QUEENS! Highly recommend!

They are terrible and the mechanical team are unprofessional
Also they don’t understand technology
I tried them with very simple problem , then they end saying a ( that’s Honda not us )

This service center was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The service advisors are extremely helpful and friendly. I’ve had numerous bad experiences in the past, with other Service centers from other Vehicle manufacturers, and this Honda Service Center is nothing short of amazing. Plenty of room/space to relax and read a book while you wait for your vehicle to be serviced. They’ll arrange for transportation if you need it. They’re also extremely fast. I needed a simple NYS inspection and Maintenance service. It was less than 1hr. I absolutely recommend booking an appointment in advance. They were very busy when I arrived, but I didn’t feel like my needs were delayed in anyway.

Multiple issues with this service department including:
1. No call backs - over the course of months!
2. I had to wait over a year to get a recalled fuel pump replaced.
3. I had an appointment for a recall, took off work to get the service done only to find out the part was not in stock. I had no courtesy call prior to taking off work.
4. I had to drive in to meet with Ralph to go over issues with my car as calls were not returned. When I got there, three people were in the waiting room and no one was at a service counter. Ralph explained calls were never returned as they were "busy".
5. My family member is receiving error messages on her dash and waiting for a recall on the fuel pump. She also cannot get a call back and cannot get an appointment to have her car fixed. This was alerted to Honda City. Nothing has been done.
The only nice person is Mike who works in service but he is at the mercy of what management tells him to do.

Brand new CRV hybrid needed a new fuel injector after only 4500 miles. We were very disappointed and wrote a letter to Honda City to complain. Never got a response.

I told them when I went in that my rear right shock absorber was bad but the told me there would be a $209 diognostic fee unless they repaired the part. My $2500 comprehensive Zurich plan brochure said suspension was covered but apparently in the contract that was not covered. Charged me $500 for one shock absorber and install that cost less than $100 for shock and less than 30 minutes to replace. They didnt even say I should replace both which is always recommended. Looks like they want to make more money off me again later. If I did it myself I still would have had to pay their diagnostic fee of $200+. I am by no means a mechanic but I just got robbed. I'll update this if anything changes when I go to pick up my vehicle. Called my regular mechanic and he said you never replace one and it would cost $429 for parts and labor to have them both done.
Update
Just picked up car and they honored my 10% coupon. The representative was very nice, even checked if he could do better on price. He reassured me that both rear shock absorbers do not have to be replaced and it is okay to only replace 1. He said these are more expensive shock absorbers because they are honda quality. (I have 28,000 miles on my van). Not sure how long they are supposed to last. Hopefully I just got a dud and nobody else has to pay the same price I did. I'm giving an additional star because the representative who helped me did let me know about prices of everything and had good communication.
