The worst company I EVER had to deal with. If i could give them a minus i would.Upgraded my service. Tech came to the house and installed new router and left. 3 hours later no service. I have been on the phone for over 2 hours and I am basically being told "we screwed up but you have to wait for 48 hours for next available technician". And to top it off they are trying to charge me $112 for installation fee that was supposed to be free! I am going to call headquarters and report them to BBB. If they do not take off the charge I will call my Bank and dispute it. I will take them to court even if it takes my yearly salary to sue them, this is a joke. If something happens to my husband's job (he works from home) Optimum will have to take the financial responsibility for this.

Not even worth one star. This company seriously is awful- customer service is atrocious and executive management is disgustingly negligent. Absolute JOKE. This company is a prime example of the inconvenience of globalization.

Please don't invest your money in Optimum because is the worst company. They take your money and don't provide proper services. The representatives fabricate information on the account such as unknown charges. I have been calling Optimum for now 2 weeks speaking to several representatives including the Supervisors requesting to reinstate my services. However, each Rep has informed me of something different about my account account charges or past-due charges. They reinstate the services but the next day they terminate the services. Please don't waste your money with this company because they are engaging in fraudulent activities. The Customer Service experience is poor quality. I am disappointed with this company

First things first, the text that they have in the field are absolutely amazing! They are competent, punctual and friendly. The reason I'm only giving it three stars is because of the insane amount of difficulty trying to reach a live person, the inability of their robo system to assist in any way possible; it just leads to greater anger and frustration. Probably, and most importantly, is the cost. I have been trying to convince my spouse to ditch cable for about a decade - it is simply too expensive and their offerings are extremely limited in this day of streaming videos.

STAY AWAY from this company!!! Their “customer service” is horrible. To boot, if you try to cancel they give you the run around. We had to literally go into a store today to cancel because rep on the phone refused. STAY AWAY!!!!

They are experts in terrible customer service. They are just so bad, it's indescribable. There are so many alternatives to these imbeciles. Don't even think of doing business with them. I can't get over how bad they are. Run like hell!

If you are considering going to fiber run the other way. I have spent over 13 hours and 2 weeks trying to resolve the fallout. Their customer service is terrible and they don’t show up for the appointments they confirm. I’ve lost 3 days of work and when they finally got a technician to show up he told me he was unable to do anything as it was a back end programming fix. I am going to write Federal, State, and local politicians to hopefully get resolution.

Altice (Optimum) needs to go out of business. They are terrible.5.5 months ago they send me a new & not requested modem. From then on, no phone service despite numerous calls & a technician visit who installed yet another modem.So 3 months ago, I cancelled the phone service. They say they have cancelled it with each phone call, but with each bill, there it is.What is wrong with these people? How can they not simply stop billing for a service they have not provided for 5.5 months & that was cancelled 3 months ago with numerous phone calls since?Switch to Starlink, DirectTV, or anyone else!

Optimum customer service is HORRIBLE at best. We’ve been without channels we pay extra for for 3 weeks, have done all troubleshooting they’ve asked us to AND picked up a new box. We are STILL WITHOUT those channels and STILL can’t speak with a competent manager. Whenever you ask for one the answer is always “no.” After a few repetitions then magically one is found. Oh not to mention when the “system updates” they’re sitting around having a party in the office because you can hear clapping in the background. REAL PROFESSIONAL!As soon as the system comes up we’re cancelling. The worst cable company EVER.

WORST customer service EVER! Tried to switch to Optimum tv. Installer came out (late-way past scheduled time). He started working but order was wrong and he didn’t have the right equipment so he had to leave. Wouldn’t say when he’d be back. After he left, we discovered he had knocked out our tv and internet. When I called “customer service ” I was lied to and told he was coming back in two hours. Of course he didn’t. I called back and was told they will be back out in about a week to fix the problem they created No apologies, no nothing. They just kept repeating “That’s the earliest we have”. To add insult to injury, they sent an email saying “Now that your service appointment has been completed…” and another one with a work order to bring the right equipment even though I told them to cancel the whole thing. They apparently don’t know which end is up. Stay away from Optimum!

I have been billed for HBO max since April, although I dont have TV Service from Optimum. I have been unable to remove the charge from my bill, even though I have spoken with reprsentatives from Optimum. I keep deducting the $13.78 from my bill each month. If this is not cleared up soon, I guess i'll have to cancel my Optimum service altogether.Jack Horowitz

Deserves zero stars but couldn't review with zero stars. Looked at reviews... 4 seems to be the number of times it takes. We are on our 5th time which we are currently waiting for. Almost time to say good bye to optimum. The absolute worst!!!! Odd that this company is too big to fail and to care...

Absolutely horrible customer service! Just a bunch of random people that don't have the slightest clue on how to solve any issues or understand anything. Service is also terrible, equipment is junk. I'm only with Optimum (Altice) until another company gets to my area. I can't wait to be done with this company.

The Cablevision wires were accidentally dug up by the landscapers at our condo. This was Cablevision’s answer to these UNDERGROUND wires! I have included pictures of the mausoleum they put on our tiny yard and the others in the community! When asked why, they just said this is what we are using now?
