I switched to the Walgreens in Bethpage. It’s a hike but I couldn’t deal with the stupidity and poor service at the pharmacy. They searched for 20 minutes for my prescription ( after I waited on line 29 minutes) only to say it was never filled, out of stock! I’m done. I wouldn’t even use Walgreens but CVS I’ve heard is worse.

Horrible, horrible, horrible! I have a prescription that needs to be called in every month, no refills. Every time my neurologist calls it in, it is not processed. I try the store at different times over multiple days. You cannot get a live person. You get put on hold, then a ringing phone, someone picks up - you can here voices talking in the background, but they throw you right back on hold. You go round and round with this for 20 - 60 minutes until someone gets tired of picking up the phone and hangs up on you. After days of this carousel, I then call corporate, get multiple apologies and it won't happen again. Sorry Walgreens, this was the third time, 3 strikes and you're out, I'm done. I don't have hours of spending on hold to never even get a live person, having to call corporate, be on hold all over again until someone finally pushes it through. It's not that you're out of the medication, a pharmacist just has to see the prescription and approve it. It doesn't take 4-7 business days for that to happen and only happen once I call corporate to complain. Have no idea why you closed the store that ran great in East Meadow and are sending everyone to this one. If you check my ratings, the majority of the time I give 4 or 5 stars. I think there's been a single instance I've ever given a poor review before this one, over all the years I've been rating on Google. Everyone is complaining about the same thing with this pharmacy over the months since East Meadow closed and nothing has changed. Very poor form on your part. UPDATE - so corporate must have reached out to them to fill my prescription, which they did; however, they did it with the single brand my neurologist told them NOT to use because I get a severe allergic reaction to it. (face palm). Thank G-d I check for that whenever I get the prescription because of the reaction I had just to make sure I don't take it again.

Don't even try to refill your prescriptions here, it is a complete disaster. 45+ minute long wait and the staff at the counter are unable to solve even basic issues

The pharmacy is the worst. Nothing is ever ready. You call. You now go to a call center and they screen the calls. I don’t understand why they can’t get their act together. This has been going on for a long time. I call corporate. Nothing gets done.

Prescriptions literally take over a week to be filled and the line is always out the door. Needed antibiotics once and had to call 5 days later to see what the hold up was.

The experience was awful! This is the second time trying to fill a prescription. The most recent visit, the person at the pharmacy counter just said “date of birth” I gave the I formation and immediately said the prescriptions are not ready. I just called a 1/2 hour prior and the customer service rep said one of the two were ready. However, when I arrived nothing was ready. This is after calling and standing there on a slow moving line. Very unprofessional and discourteous. I see from the reviews this is an ongoing complaint that needs to be addressed.

Doctor calls in a prescription Thursday , I called 3 times for status , actually spoke to someone Frdau who said they’re working on it. Called back today( Saturday )and they tell me nobody entered it into the system : maybe it will be ready Sunday after 11. You take 90 pills from a big bottle and put them in a small bottle , why 4 days ??
Called back today for my prescription status and they said it’ll be ready tomorrow after 11. That’s what they said Friday , Saturday and again Sunday . Is it all Walgreens or just this one ?

The Pharmacy is just horrendous. Prescriptions are rarely ready on time. You will spend 15to 20 minutes waiting on the phone to ask a question. You can also expect to wait on line for 15 to 20 minutes at the Pharmacy just to find out your prescription is still not ready. Do your self a favor and avoid this Pharmacy. To say it is horrendous is being kind.

Wow, this place is terrible. Recently switched pharmacies from CVS to Walgreens, unfortunately the one in East Meadow closed and my two experiences with Bellmore have been terrible. First time I went to pick up a prescription, weekday before the lunch rush, I must have waited on line about a half hour. While I waited all I heard was other customers complaining about having to wait, their prescription not being filled, etc. So now experience number 2, placed an order this past Tuesday for a different script, app said it would be ready Thursday, well now it’s Friday night and was “still in process”, realizing how right those customers were, I never in the years I went to CVS had this issue with this prescription. Guess I’ll be trying a different location with hopes this one will have the competency of the East Meadow one that unfortunately closed???

The absolute WORST pharmacy! They will put you on hold indefinitely any time you call, or they'll literally just hang up. The entire staff needs to be terminated and replaced with employees that are considerate to the fact that they are dealing with medications that are vital to the health and well-being of others. There is always a problem, and they are constantly closing early for their lunch break. Can they not simply stagger their break times like every other customer service occupation.

Same to other posts, my record was transferred to this location due to a nearby Walgreens store closure. My Rx was finally filled after a whole week of multiple calls and in-person visits. This is life and death situation and this pharmacy DOES NOT care. I see law suits coming their way. I am also calling FDA to file a compliant too. They don't deserved to be in this business. Thank you Walgreens for spiting on customers and business.

this particular pharmacy isn't customer oriented at all. they call and tell you your medication will be available the next day and or isn't true. as the customer I call to f/u and find out no such order was placed and to call the next day to see if it is available. now I have to search for another pharmacy and still out of medication
