“We have been taking our rescue pups to Bull's Head since we moved to the Stamford area ten years ago. They have been amazing and responsive to each of them, through to the end of their lives. This latest review, I am writing to express my heartfelt thanks to the veterinarians and staff at Bull's Head for being so incredibly responsive to our needs for our pup Buffy. They gave us treatment options and then, ultimately, provided us with responsive and loving care for her end of life. They were supportive and - I cannot stress this enough - incredibly responsive. We will *of course!* continue our care there with our rescue pup Cooper, and will continue to use Bull's Head for all of our pets. Nolan Zeide, who came out to us to help with Buffy, was caring, patient, and everything was exactly how she and we needed to do this last gift to Buffy as her human parents. I also want to shout-out Jessica Greenberg (Batkin) for her ideas and support as Buffy deteriorated. “Dr Gallagher is excellent. My dog had reinjured his back 5 years after spinal surgery. I was so concerned that he would need surgery again. Dr. Gallagher spent over an hour with my dog, assessing his symptoms and options. My husband and I both felt that she clearly treated my dog as if it were her own. We were able to relieve his symptoms with medication and he did not need surgery. Dr. Gallagher followed up multiple times during his recovery and I am forever grateful. Definitely recommend this practice and specifically Dr. Gallagher.”

“Dr. Andrew Frishman is literally a life-saver! He and his team at Progressive saved my dog's life. I was given a cancer diagnosis by the vet that we have used for years in Manhattan. The vet there said the tumor was inoperable and there was not treatment for this type of cancer. As we weighted our options to put our beautiful and loving pet down, THANKFULLY, we sought a second opinion from Dr. Frishman. Dr. Frishman advised he could perform the operation immediately. We had our pet in his care the very next morning. The tumor was removed, and now our dog is on an innovative immunotherapy treatment plan consisting of 3 shots that have zero side effect. Our dog is thriving and couldn't be happier. And, to think, we were told there was no treatment by a very expensive tribeca vet. I now make the drive to Somers without a second thought. I implicitly trust Dr. Frishman and his team. Everyone there is thoughtful, full of compassion, loving towards the animals (and yes, I've watched them with their other patients as they come and go out - everyone smiling and happy), and their costs are very, very reasonable. They do not charge for anything "extra" and they do not try to sell any unnecessary treatments or services, which is so refreshing. This is at least partly because they always give you the time and attention that you and your pet need when they're with you. But they do a great job of managing the chaos and getting to everyone eventually. They so clearly love your pets too.”

Dr. Weisenfeld, vet techs Cheryl and Maria, plus both Shayna's at the front desk and the entire back office staff...really everyone - the amount of care and love they gave our dogs during their lifetimes was unmatched.Most recently, they cared for our dog Lyla in her final days, helping us navigate heartbreaking decisions with care and confidence. Our dogs loved coming here to board and for vet care, literally bounding out of the car when they realized where they were. They both lived long and healthy lives thanks to the fantastic case they received at Yorktown. When we are ready to bring another dog into our home, we will absolutely be clients of Yorktown again.”

“Dr. Seo is the best vet that I have ever encountered. It is obvious that Dr. Seo genuinely and deeply cares about the work that he does, which is shown in his ability to be responsive and educating. My dog suffers from epilepsy. Previous vets have just given him anti-convulsants and called it a day. Dr. Seo has taken the time to properly diagnose the underlying cause, and recommend supplements, accu-pressure techniques, diet changes, etc. I have met several people who rave about his exceptional work in the veterinary world. Very grateful to have him and I remain hopeful that my dog's seizures will decrease or stop completely.”

“My older guinea pig was in GI stasis when I brought him in, a life threatening condition. Fortunately I was able to get an emergency appointment right away. Dr. Marion has a very nice manner, sympathetic but honest. He was able to do blood work and xrays without sedating him and we left with Critical Care and many medicines. They recommended an ultrasound, which found some underlying conditions, but for right now he has made a good recovery. Yes, it was expensive, but I was very happy with the treatment we received.”
