I read other reviews about this place. People complaining about rude owners and unfortunately I have to agree. The guy denied entry to my service dog who was wearing his vest and ID. Most everything was junk, what wasn't was over priced.

As a designer I always make an effort to stop in antique stores to shop and support small business. When I entered the space with my family I picked up a vase and asked the seller how much it was. He quoted $25. My son then approached the owner and said “what’s this?” The owner immediately snapped “DON’T” to my son with no further response. It was a simple inquisitive question and this man was so rude.
He then charged me for the vase without giving me a breakdown, did his own mental math and rounded the purchase up to $28 plus an additional fee claiming it was tax and credit card fees which he never mentioned to begin with. He only presented a receipt once I asked.
Not a great experience at all, and truly there was just no justification to being so rude to a child that was asking an innocent question.

I visited this store with my boyfriend, who is an antique rug enthusiast. Upon entering, I noticed the store owner eyeing my boyfriend (in a suspicious manner), even though we had just entered the store. I did not think much of it, but when my boyfriend approached the store owner with a small textile and asked the store owner how much he is selling it for, the store owner promptly, and rudely responded, “That’s mine. That’s mine." He then took the textile from my boyfriend without even the decency to look at him. I was baffled by the behavior and the way in which the store owner responded.
There was no "NFS" (not for sale) sign which he had up for other objects around the store, and instead of saying, "Sorry, not for sale," he responded only with "That's mine.”There was no further attempt at asking us if there were other items we were interested in. It was very clear he did not want to serve us.
I can't imagine why he would respond that way…although you can probably glean the reason from the fact we are both people of color. I would heed caution.

I was very disappointed by my expierence here. The pieces they sell are wildly overpriced and the shop attendants were not helpful at all. I was interested in something they had in the window and i asked to look at it but they told me they would not grab it for me if i wasn't going to buy it. How can I know if i want to purchase something if i don't get to assess it first??? anyways would not recommend.

Stopped in after Mother's Day Brunch at the Roundhouse which was awesome! One of the most historic buildings in Beacon with the finest interior wood work. The building is available for public & private venues, on this day it was displaying a private professional collection of black & white photos of famous & not so famous individuals which we enjoyed as well.

The people running this shop are grumps selling overpriced junk. Not sure why seeing as to how they're open two days a week for a few hours at that. They won't let you pay with a card unless you spend over a certain amount, get with the times this is 2021, accommodate the customer in order to survive. These are probably the same kind of people that will later complain business is bad when they literally turn away clients with their weird rules and attitude. Guy huffed and puffed when I asked to see something locked up in a glass case, then he seemed to make up rules as he went along that ultimately made me think he didnt want me to buy the piece of junk. You don't want my business fine, your loss.
