My FAVORITE shop. There are some true gems here! Beautiful, unique selection at affordable prices. Lovely shop, friendly staff. I found Blackbird Attic last year when I was visiting from out-of-state and when coming back this year, it was the first stop on my list in the Hudson Valley! Love it!

Feels like I can't walk out of here without buying something :) Also just started consigning with them and it's a dream! So organized and sweet and I feel the payment is very fair (especially because I don't have time or patience to sell and ship things myself, this takes all of that away!) ever since I moved to the area been really enjoying this gem xx

**Review Update**Michelle, thank you very much for addressing my concerns and for your prompt communication. I was frustrated after not hearing back, and after having a few incidents in the past with attitudes, one missing item, then one damaged item, I lost my patience and wrote an angry review. I’ve been consigning with Blackbird for several years and haven’t gone elsewhere yet, so that says it a lot about how I’m generally happy with the shop. My issues have never been with management/the owner; she’s very sweet and definitely makes it a good place to consign. I just wish some of the previous/rotating staff members were a bit more attentive so important issues didn’t fall through the cracks. I apologize for not bringing up the previous employees behavior to management directly after it happened, and I’m sorry for hastily leaving an unfair review!**1st response to owner**Her name is Joana Rigol and she definitely works/worked for BLACKBIRD located on Main Street in Beacon, NY. She was literally just posted on your Instagram page on September 20, 2022. She was very rude when operating the store, which was not appreciated. Also, my review is anonymous to protect my identity, and I have sent two emails within the past two weeks regarding a payout check and STILL have not had any contact from the shop. I’ll send a third email tomorrow and we’ll see how that goes…Original Posting:Not a customer service-based business for sure. “Joana” was working when I came in with clothes to consign; I had a box in my hands and I walked up towards the desk as she was steaming clothes, looked at me, and just turned her face. Eventually, bothered, she finally barked, “CAN I HELP YOU?”Yeah, I’ll pick a different shop to partner with. I’ve had items lost, damaged, and payouts never sent… No thanks.

In response to owner: I gave you a 1 star because you (or your staff) completely ignored me when I walked in the store. Just looked at me several times and kept doing whatever they were doing; but greeted every white person than came in after me and offered assistance. No one ever said a word to me. May you all heal your inherent and obvious racism towards people who don't look like you.

My friend found a new consignment store. While she was browsing, and found a nice dress, I found a place to sit out of the way. She is happy with her purchase, so I'm happy. The prices are reasonable, I was told.

Saw a pair of boots on their Facebook page- pictures, price listed. Drove a half hour the following day only to find out they don’t actually have them yet. As a consignment shop- why would you advertise shoes with a price when you haven’t actually seen them yet and, why would you advertise them as though you have them in stock when you really don’t? Total waste of time.

Beautiful shop. Was beyond excited to check it out. Not a place to find things if you're plus sized. If you're not plus sized though I'm sure you'd love it. They have a "L-1x" section that was slim. As were the clothes in it.
