Guy (that is the manager’s name) is rude and has no business holding a position that requires dealing with the public. The USPS has a bad reputation as is and Guy is doing his best to uphold that reputation.

Horrible customer service. I am appalled how i was just treated by not only the employee but the supervisor. Never return to this location again. I would not trust my mail here either.

Went there to get $3,000 money order. Guy was just plain rude. Told me money orders no more then 1,000 so I said I'll need 3 and her told me he wouldn't do it. Told me it would take 2 hours to fill our paper work..really ? Asked me if i wanted to be there all night doing paper work. MAYBE it ⁹was it cutting into the cigarette breaks you were taking standing right by the door blowing smoke in people's face? How does someone refuse to give you money orders?? 2 hours of paperwork? Funny I went to the Holbrook post office and was done in 10 minutes. I have 2 words for this guy...ignorant and lazy.

I tried this post office for the first time on Thursday and I was very disappointed. The associate ( behind the counter) was not very friendly and seemed aggravated the moment I walked in. I placed my package on the counter and said " I'd like to ship this." She entered some information and asked if there was anything hazardous, liquid, etc. I replied with a " no" and she asked me to sign on the screen. I said " the screen is dark so I can't sign" and right away she says " the computer does that sometimes, I don't think I can ship this." "Um, so the entire post office cannot ship packages because of one dark screen?" This seemed a bit odd but I guess magic happened because she was able to process it. She asked if I wanted to ship it for a Saturday delivery for $13.15 or three days for 12 something. I chose Saturday but should not have done that because my package never arrived on Saturday and now it is on schedule for Monday at 9pm. Why offer me something that cannot be achieved? I didn't need to pay more for the same turnaround. This is a poor system and I will be reaching on Monday to see why this happened and how they plan on turning this negative into a positive. I would not recommend working with this post office.

Nothing but problems with Bayport post office. They’ve lost multiple packages worth hundreds of dollars with no explanation. One time would be an honest mistake but after 3 it becomes an issue. One time the mail carrier put it in our neighbors box and if I hadn’t called and had the manager come to look I would have lost another package.

I just received (in my home mailbox) FOUR (4) “Biden for President” membership cards. ALL in separate envelopes to be delivered to FOUR (4) different homes in: Bayport, Bayville, Bay Shore, Bay Shore. Particularly with Absentee Ballots a major issue at this time, this is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! Get it right!!!!!

Although I live in Patchogue, the Bayport post office is the one that I prefer. I have been coming here for nearly a decade. This is because the service is fabulous here. Lines move fast because the postal workers know what they are doing. The location is on Montauk Highway and therefore is easy to find. Parking is plentiful and is on a relatively small lot. Coronavirus Alert: A clear shower curtain drapes in front of the front counter. The floor is marked with green Xs, and six feet measures the distance between each X. Bring disposable gloves if you plan to pay for your transaction by machine.

The girl behind the counter was very rude to me, couldn't answer my questions, and laughed at me as I left. Honestly, I was really upset. The man that works there is always so kind to me and I was not expecting this at all.

The staff does not have sufficient knowledge of the products and services they offer.
