My dog had crud and sores, under his mouth around his eyes I went to three veterinarians thankfully I found this doctor she was the only one to cure him with the right antibiotics she was a little bit expensive but my boy Waldo has no sores no crud and his eyes are perfect

Was recommended by a few people to come see Dr. Wheat. New dog parent here and didn't know what to expect. The office is very clean. Staff is very professional. I didn't have to wait very long. Dr. Wheat answered all my questions and was extremely caring and nurturing. She made me feel at ease. I am so happy I found her! I am looking forward to my follow up visit for my fur baby.

I dont usually write alot of reviews but, I really have to do this. By far this is the BEST Vet experience at Bayport Veterinary. Dr Wheat and her assistant was so kind and tender to our babies. It felt so comfortable for my husband and I. WE found or new home for our babies. From the first phone call speaking to Doreen she was so kind and warm it really made us even more excited to come in and meet everyone else. Keep us the GREAT Work Dr Wheat. Your staff is amazing its a perfect match. I will be telling everyone about you guys! See you soon. :)

I took my dog, Callie here when I woke up to her shaking and lethargic. This was the first, closest place I could think of and I came in with no appointment hoping for the best and that's what I received. They took her in immediately, they noticed she had a fever so they checked her whole body and ran some blood work. Our vet, Dr. Wheat had noticed she had a rotten tooth that looked infected and that could of been what caused the fever. I tried to make an appointment to get the tooth extracted but the earliest appointment they had a available was 4 weeks away so I expressed my concerns about waiting that long and they called me the second they had a cancellation and they were able to get Callie in 3 weeks earlier. Callie's surgery went great, they checked her whole mouth and removed a few other teeth they felt would have lead to further complications. They did a teeth cleaning, and also clipped her nails while she was under and her teeth and nails both look amazing, I've never been able to get her nails that short. I also paid less than what I was quoted so that was a nice surprise. They called the next day to see how she was feeling and welcomes her back at any time. I'm very happy I stumbled upon Bayport Veterinary Hospital. I can officially say, Callie doesn't run away when she hears the word "vet".

I’m new to the area and my first visit with my inherited chocolate lab was amazing. Dr Wheat took her time with us and got to know us as a family. The office was so pleasant and the staff all were kind and patient. Thank you for being genuine and so welcoming!!! I highly recommend her expertise! Missy loved her!!!!

Dr. Wheat and the ENTIRE staff at Bayport Vet are amazing!! My husband and I were referred to them and it was the best decision we made. They are compassionate, polite, and answer every single question. I wouldn't being my pets anywhere else.

Dr. Wheat is the Best vet I have ever known. She and her staff care for your pets as if they were their own. Our German Shepherd Tyson was cured of cancer by her amazing surgery on his right front leg. Tyson knows she saved his life and he always tries to come in the building when we walk past it. He is a rescue and absolutely loves Dr. Wheat. She walked one of our other German Shepherds home and she passed peacefully. Our dogs love her and so do we. She really cares and never pushes you to spend money. I highly recommend her.

Dr Wheat took our dog's health very seriously and was able to quickly and accurately diagnose his ligament issue. The staff was all very kind to Loki and helped to calm down his anxiety.

Zero stars...... firstly, Im not a fan of paying to make an appointment. I reluctantly did. I rescheduled the original appointment due to a conflicting college orientation. On the day of the new visit, i was called by the receptionist telling me i had an appointment today, which I had scheduled for 2 pm. I was told it was 12 and that I missed it. She then proceeded to tell me that since I canceled the first appoint ment and missed the 2nd, I had to pay another 65.00 for another appointment. She wasn't happy with my statement about bad business practices and told me to speak with the vet and hung up. Dont waste your time with this place as they have poor business practices and take your money without providing services.

THIS OFFICE IS WONDERFUL!! Before finding Dr. Goos and the awesome staff at BVH I had been with a different vet for 7+ years but the care my dogs were receiving had really declined and it was time to make a change. I recently took my dog here and I could not be happier! My dog has many health issues and Dr. Goos was so knowledgeable and kind, and took her time with us. The staff is so friendly and you can tell they all truly care about animals here. I left with a sigh of relief and a smile knowing my dog(s) will get the best care. Thank you so much, you are all appreciated!
