Upon review of my receipt later in the day, it turns out that the cashier rang me up for a $5 donation. At no point was I asked if I wanted to make this donation.

It's a really nice location. They have many products that are great for your pets. There's a bunch of services like grooming, vetco, and adoption, which they partner with Last Chamce Animal Rescue. The only reason giving it 4 stars is that the parking lot is in need of some tlc. Also, there is a hornet nest in the ground by the curb parking spot towards the veteran store. They were very aggressive when we brought our puppies in. Otherwise, it's a great place to be.

Brought my small Yorkie puppy, Muffin here for grooming. I was very nervous since we had a bad experience at a different groomers we went to prior. This petco did a fantastic job! They explained everything in terms of home care for her fur. Muffin was matted and we didn’t want her shaved, but the stylist explained our options and showed us exactly how her hair would look after. They kept Muffin comfortable and clean! She came out looking adorable. Our groomer was Joann, she did a fantastic job, and was very sweet! Highly recommend!

I took my dog for his grooming on Monday I did not want them to shave him too low when I saw my door I was very disappear what is a very sloppy job this is not the first time I wasn't happy with this cut but it will be all last the money that I'm spending there for two bad haircuts p and I didn't even get my discount

Super easy to schedule a pick up online. It says it takes about an hour but it was ready in like 20 minutes. I ordered online because there was only 1 left of what I needed and I didn't want someone to buy it before I could get there so it really came in handy!

This Petco is really well maintained and clean, by far the best Petco on Long Island, they keep the store clean, the animals are well cared for and the shelves are very neat and organized.

When you pay for a service for 2 dogs and no one answers the phone at the VetCo during business hours - that’s not good business. When you have to call the front desk of Petco to find out what’s going on because they don’t answer the phones in the hospital, that makes PetCo look bad.
When you call back the front desk at PetCo an hour later and are told, ‘the last vet just left….’ and it’s 3:30, and they are supposed to be open until 6pm, and no one bothered to call you back after you left the required detailed message when they were supposedly at lunch - that’s not only unacceptable, it’s a reason to cancel. So someone in VetCo management needs to step up and help me understand all this!! This review will stay up until this gets resolved. But a huge shout out to Patchogue VetCo who answered the phone on first ring and put my mind at ease!!

The store was nice n neat
The Trainer that happened to be working the counter greeted me made eye contact w a smile. I just stopped in for a few treats but the young lady w long hair was very professional especially in light of the situation going on. There was a vicious dog w a vicious owner causing a ruckus this young lady continued to do biz!
