Hands down the best boutique on the Island! I was happy to finally find a shop that sells quality clothing that speaks to my personal style. No more making trips to Manhattan, Origin of Era is here! Besides the merch, the owner Renee is a delight! She is the friend you need to give honest opinions, style you, while getting to know so she can pull clothes for you! She's even personally contacted me to let me know that something I would like has come in. She is never a pushy sales woman, but your shopping bestie. She is very welcoming, sets up treats while you shop, hosts evens, and her Instagram Lives are so fun! If you have not visited the shop, hurry up and plan a visit.

Some people have a stylist I have Reene. Her expertise in styling fashion to suit the individual is above and beyond. You see imperfection she sees perfection! Reene's boutique is an experience. It's comfortable, cozy with a hip Brooklyn vibe. There is something for everyone, if you don't see it Reene will. She's amazing and you'll love her!!

This is one of the best boutiques I have ever been in !!! The first time I went I was a little apprehensive because I often have a hard time finding clothes that fit me in small boutiques. This is the first place that I have been to that I found A LOT of options for my body type! The owner is beyond nice, and went above and beyond to help me. She made me feel comfortable and was very helpful in helping me to pick out what I looked good in! Her clothes are beautiful and really well made, I always get compliments when I wear something from her store. I have since gone back a bunch of times. The last time I went she altered a skirt on the spot for me so it would fit my body better. I cannot rave enough about how much I love this store!

This is an amazing woman- owned shop, the clothing is beautiful and the owner is terrific. Renee is so helpful and very very nice. You don’t feel pushed into buying something you are not sure of. She will definitely be there if you need an opinion and be honest - she wants you to love what you purchase. I will be coming back to shop in this little gem in Bay Shore!

A great assortment of interesting small designers for Bohemian Style clothing and gifts. The hat selection offers names like Lack Of Color and Olive and Pique and keeps the assortment fresh and new. You will find gifts to cater to any budget. Small makers for candles and jewelry, and quite a few local in the mix.

*I copied and pasted this review from my Yelp account*Maybe this is the kind of place that's kinder to its regulars, but apparently not to strangers. (Well, I'm a few towns away, but still.) As soon as my friend and I walked in, we were greeted by the owner, who came across as intense and didn't offer assistance. She stared at my friend and I the whole time and what I thought was an article of clothing in the tiny, packed Sales section was a curtain to a secluded part of the store. It was a MISTAKE, which I apologized for as I tried to leave the area. Then, this is on me, I knocked something over (again, it's a tiny space,) and she literally told me, and I quote, "Come on out of there." I apologized and got no response. This was wildly unprofessional and downright rude, it did not go with the store's vibe at all. Absolutely not returning, this owner needs to learn manners and how to treat people.Since I've posted this on Yelp I was given a comically long response I couldn't even finish reading, but it began with calling me a liar. The friend I went with says there is now "coincidentally" (wink) a glowing review up from a different person. PATHETIC. So go ahead; give me an essay of a response I won't read of why I'm the worst customer ever, then have another little buddy post a fake review.

This store has a homely feeling. My experience was a 5 because of how welcoming and helpful the owner was. She was very sweet and was hands on with my purchase. This place is in the cut on Main St. but nicely decorated. There is some reasonable price items but designer as well which is more pricey. I purchased a beautiful dress that I can't wait to wear in Greece. I am excited that this small business is in my community. I

My cousin and I came across this lovely shop over the summer while walking in Bayshore and today we stopped back in ! This boutique is amazing the owner carries a variety of unique items ,woman's clothing , jewelry, accessories and vintage attire . She has an array of beautiful dresses that you won't find elsewhere. The owner Renee is so sweet , helpful and so attentive to her customers . We will definitely be back ! Check the shop out you are going to love it !

The only thing that I’m most disappointed about is that I didn’t come to this shop sooner! First of all, the owner keeps everything spotless and super safe with sanitizing everything after each touch. Secondly, the clothes are beautiful. She specifically takes in clothes that are small batch, female owned and extremely unique to anything else you can find around. When you walk in, she helps you with whatever you may need, whether it’s finding the perfect size, or even offering complimentary alternations if it just needs a little adjustment. I’m going to follow Origin of Era wherever they go and I’m going to be a customer for life.

Found this hidden gem while on the hunt for a birthday present. Everyone was extremely helpful and they had a variety of things to choose from. Not only did I purchase the gift I was looking for but walked out with some things for myself as well. Found a store that has amazing finds and that could be dangerous to me since I love to shop will definitely be back.

Love this boutique! Awesome clothes and accessories with friendly personalized service and I always have a great shopping experience in a calm environment. Not to mention the fabulous outfits you won't find anywhere else!!
